Polo GTI uses the same engine block as Golf GTI. Its the 2.0 liter turbo.

The polo AW GTI weights like 20kg less than Golf gti. Virtually no difference. Drives like a tank, love it. More than golf.

Not sure the stock long block could take more power. The turbo could probably flow more and make more power but doubt you want bent rods or cracked pistons. Also like others said that's heaps of wheel power for a fwd car.

Magnifique projet ! Mais en Belgique avec cette prépa, elle passe toujours au CT ? :p et j'aurais bien aimé avoir le montant de ce stage 3 car je suis très intéressé étant propriétaire d'une GTI. Bravo BRP

@@Regape96 There are two versions of 2.0 TSI : Gen 3a & Gen 3b. Gen 3b has much higher compression ratio than Gen 3a. I think, that is the reason why Gen 3a produces more HP.

i really like the DSG sound on that GTi .. way better than this extreme farting 2.0 tsi's normally have. Even though i dont like the looks of the AW Polo, this one is surely a lot of fun to drive.

C'est quelque chose que nous ne pouvons pas régler, mais pourquoi est-ce nécessaire lorsque le son de cet échappement peut également être entendu de l'intérieur :)

front rollers on the dino are linked to the rear rollers on the dyno so that the rear rollers spin the rear wheels in time with the fronts in order to trick the car into thinking its driving normally, otherwise the traction control would kick in as it would think it was slipping.

No because the cars brain or ecu will still see as one axle is spinning which might interfere with the tuning of software. Ideally you want 4wd dyno as they call it so ecu thinks the car is on the road, it’s best and safest way to tune the car without errors or minimum amount of them

Et bien parceque chacun fait ce qu'il veut avec son argent ... ;) Et puis en plus de ça avec tous les constructeurs qui se séparent de plus en plus des sportives... à un moment on aura plus que le monde de la modif pour s'amuser ( plus de Ford Focus RS, Renault Clio 5 RS annulée etc etc etc ... ) Le proprio est peut être un passionné VW / Polo tout simplement

How reliable is it with the stage 3 mods? I imagine it depends greatly on how you choose to drive it. Like any car really, but compared to stock is it a noticeable difference?

Also polo AW GTI uses miller cycle, it's a different combustion cycle than what Golf GTI and golf R use. Basically miller cycle allows less horsepower but lower fuel consumption.

@@xxBlackpspxx Correct. Probably 350hp is not even right. Because i know from a 100% sure source that you need to modify the head and the timing to get way over 300hp on this car. This engine is not capable of that this way. It is probably like every tuner does. Just added 30 - 50 hp to the measurement, because that sells better.

People who mod usually would have got their third party mechanics by that time. Like company service centers wouldn't help you in fitting any modification.

You do know throttle is not On/Off right ? :p you can modulate throttle and have immense torque to pull you out of corners once you're clear. Sometimes in life it's not just about numbers, but the experience. And in my opinion, a 350hp fwd car is just as fun of an experience as a 350hp rwd car, just in a different way
