Volkswagen Jetta TDI Timing Belt and Thermostat

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this second part I replace the timing belt and components along with the thermostat. It all went back together well, fired up and ran great!

Great job, Sir. One thing that I did was i clean the throttle body that full of carbon, but i did it on 110k miles service just the timing belt and the thermostat which included the oil filter cooling and housing re-seal.

I just watched your video from 2012 of driving the stick in the ranger. I got my own ranger running and drive-able now I'm ready to practice. It's good to see you're still making videos, thank you.

Next time if you replace the fuel filter, it’s better to purge the system using a scan tool, the high pressure pump cp4 by bosch are very sensitive to dry start like this. Good job 💪 Did you lock the high pressure pump during the all process?

That ball shaped coolant reservoir is OLD. Seen them on 2000 Golfs, guess it's a good design for them to keep them so long.

Sounds just like an Audi/VW FSI engine lol - joke behind it, is that particular engine is gas 😂
