Gosh - what a surprise! I once owned this 7-single. It was given to me by my friend Mark Williams - his name appears on the label. Sadly it was lost during a house move on the West Rand in 1989, along with other Rhodie 7-singles. Thanks for putting this on KZread.

Rhodesia fought the good fight.

Funny that there aren't many recordings of this anthem on the internet. The only ones available are one with only the choir and this one from the disc, often cutting the children's choir part from the beginning and going straight to the adult part's choir.

When I see and hear this, I often wonder why, but when I look back and feel like I really want to cry, I realise then it was all worth the try. With sanctions and against communism, we fought the good fight, in sunshine and in rainand with plenty of pain, I say to myself; If I was given another chance, I'd do it all again. A Proud Rhodesian Forever.

I just bought a Rhodesian flag on eBay. I never was even near Rhodesia, but I deeply admire all of you Rhodesians. Rhodesia is a much better nation than the United States currently is. I’d like to add that Ian Douglas Smith is a true leader and a great man; he stands much taller than the fool that’s currently the president of America. LONG LIVE RHODESIA!

@@patsomers187 Joe Biden aint that bad but he is nothing compared to Ian Smith. And I find it both sad and stupid how you are seen as white supremacist for just supporting Rhodesia. Personally I still want a Rhodesia. Or a Zimbabwe-Rhodesia. Maybe make two seperate nations, but then, Zambia for the blacks and Rhodesia mixed already is a good idea. But ever since I found out about Rhodesia, I can't stand the Republic of the Great Ruin.

I feel so nostalgic for Rhodesia despite being born in 1991. Man, I swear I must have been Rhodesian in a past life. I'm ashamed how my country (Britain) screwed Rhodesia so badly.

The leaders of the UK and USA at the time stabbed Rhodesia in the back, they're commonly remebered as one of the worst ones as well :D (Thatcher and Carter that is)
