    Bless his heart…as a nurse, the videos of people serving in a medical capacity are of particular interest to me (but every video I’ve seen has been extremely moving) and I love hearing their stories. Thank you for your service, sir 🫡🇺🇸

    Thank goodness that Captail Merrill did not have to go to an invasion of Japan... the U.S. Military estimated four to eight hundred thousand American deaths if that went forward, and five to ten million Japanese dead.

    Chet, many of my European Veterans were preparing for the invasion of Japan. A moment in history most have no knowledge of. Yes, I've heard estimates up to 1 million American deaths if we would've invaded Japan. It would've changed everything that we know it today. I'm glad you liked Captain Merrill's story.
