That was a hard story to watch! What a man to have survived through such tragedy! So, wish he could have gotten the mental help he so desperately needed and deserved! I'll never forget his story! He was a part of the Greatest Generation!!!

This man’s story is typical of many of our heroes of WWII. They came home and tried to forget the madness and terror they experienced in a homeland that could never understand the psychological mental anguish they were replaying in their minds. Someone up there looked after him and his story should make us all reflect and appreciate his sacrifice for our country.

My Grandfather was in Stalag Luft 3 in Poland. He was on the Long March too. Gave me an idea of the disgusting way germans treated POWs. We are so Blessed these Heroes fought for our Freedoms.
