You were talking about their unison. If you want to hear more of that, I would suggest their version of Euphoria (originally by Loreen). In that song they sing in unison a lot, they almost sound like one. They also sing that song in a really cool medley "Dance medley" from their show Three Times a Lady. I really hope you will react to OG3NE some more. Looking forward to it! :)

Hi Valerie, thanks again for your expert reaction! The middle song (Bright Eyes) is actually only by Art Garfunkel, it’s from the animated movie “Watership Down” from 1978, you look obviously waaaay too young to know that one. The song was a huge hit in the Netherlands back than, with holding the number 1 spot for 11 weeks (making the song a bit annoying by than, but hearing it back I love it again!) Keep up the good work 🙏😘

yeah the other Medleys were faster paced like Earth wind and Fire Medley and Three Degrees Medley.

I recently heard their cover of unbreak my hart of Tony Braxton. Wonderful

I love these medleys the girls give us, it shows a lot about them on a personal level, not "just" their vocal abilities. The song choices for instance, always show they know the matter of the songs, the artist and the intention of the songs they perform. And then we also have the composition of the medleys they do, song choice is one thing, putting them together as one harmonious medley is a whole different ballpark. And the artistic input from the girls themselves make it complete (and having such an awesome band is of equal importance to make these productions as good as they are) The song "Bright eyes" was a big hit here in the Netherlands, it came with one of the saddest videos ever, a scene from the cartoon movie "Watership Down" but as far as i know, its not Simon and Garfunkel, but rather Art Garfunkel solo. The song was part of the movie too. (its a very sad movie) Ty for a lovely react Valerie :D

Bright eyes was a song by Art Garfunkel for the movie Watership Down. The duo that present Beste Zangers 2020 Nick&Simon are so very good in singin songs of Simon&Garfunkel, they were their insperation to sing as a couple. They are doing Beste Zangers only this year by the illnes of Jan Smit this year. They are coming from the same village Volendam as Jan.

Woody's neighbour is Dutch and they visited the Netlerlands together, where they saw Nick & Simon performwith some Simon & Garfunkel. Woody showed the smartphone footage to Paul. Paul later reached out to Nick & Simon and gave his sign of approval: he liked their rendition very much and even said they sounded like Simon & Garfunkel. Small world, big compliment!

Nice and warm reation again. Song 2 is written for a movie. Was often used for funerals in the netherlands. I also want to give you a hint. Thursday 3 september the Beste zangers started again. This saison the guests are singer songwriters. So you can hear a lot of new beautiful music.

I'm not entirely sure but afaik "Bright Eyes" is Art Garfunkel solo from '79 (with a cartoon as clip), not a classic S&M song. It does date from before e.g. the Central Park concert. They played the Eurovision Songfestival 2017 with a song "Lights and Shadows", and since the Eurovision is not exactly the smallest show on earth with a billion syndicated viewers or so, it might be worth reviewing :-)
