I flew to Mexico City from Miami with my late mother to be at this performance. It was a celebration of his 25th anniversary as a musician. The show was nearly four hours long without an intermission. I will never forget that night.

It was a privilege to have known him. To know him was to love him. He was such a sweet, sensitive soul in person and it shows off on stage. To me he was Alberto but to the world Juan Gabriel. His fans will never really know how truly a genius he was for songwriting. So many of his written songs will probably never come to light. Thank you for showing his videos and in a way showing the world who this amazing human was.

La razón de que no tenga la traducción completa es que Juan Gabriel tenía la costumbre de que cada vez que cantaba una canción hacia pequeñas variaciones. Por eso cuando recomiendan un video suyo suelen mencionar que versión, es decir el lugar donde la cantó. Las traducciones de Internet suelen ser de una versión radio o neutra
