My husband is from Mexico and I asked him 27 years ago when we first got married to introduce me to some of Mexico's best music/musicians and he showed me Juan Gabriel. I have been listening to his music for all of these years. I think he was one of the world's best musicians, writer and performer. He was the master of music. I always say his music style sounds like his words bounce, like a ball! I Love it!! He also sings with his heart. I can feel every emotion he has, it's incredible!! Espero q leea este comentario, otro dato interesante de Juan Gabriel es que al ser el compositor, en sus conciertos cambiaba la letra de la canción y agregaba arreglos en el momento de la presentación, haciendo sus interpretaciones más grandiosas!

Hasta los más rockeros o punketos se saben o han cantado una canción del maestro Juan Gabriel desde México para todo el mundo 🇲🇽😀

Sientí que en cualquier instante el profe iba a empezar a cantar, se veía que lo estaba disfrutando mucho.

Oh man, I lived as a teenager through the times when this song was a hit in the radio in Latin America. You have no idea of what a hit it was in the airwaves. This song is a super classic in the Hispanic countries. Also when _Querida_ came out. Those were the days...

Same here I'd wake up to the music and delicious breakfast cooked by dad but afterwards we had work that needed to be done. Then we'd go out in the evening to have some dinner as a family.

That's what I was talking about, how you enjoy music and performance from your heart, that honesty is hardly seen on the internet anymore. Your emotion is not feigned. But I think you would enjoy the lyrics more if you knew its true meaning, as it is a beautiful song but the translation you got is a mild glimpse of what the song means. Even so, I really enjoyed seeing how you get excited with Juan Gabriel's performance, as if you were in the auditorium.

Juan Gabriel is a latin legend, I appreciate how even though you don't speak Spanish he still envoked a deep reaction in you through his singing.

I was here in search on how to change the thermostat in my car, but somehow I ended up here LOL

Noone like him! He is immensely missed in Latin America. He was the king of interpretations, and an amazing writer. So much beauty in his lyrics. The most beautiful songs of other artists were also written by him. And he was the king of improvisation on stage. He would always sing a song and then improvise lyrics at the end of a song having the orchestra follow him beautifully. He is improvising here towards tthe end when you say he was singing softer and then comes like a crescendo. Thank you so much for appreciating Latin American artists.
