And the significance of him kissing his thumb and forefinger at 5:09 is the Mexican equivalent of cross my heart and hope to die. That brings so many levels to this whole song. Who is he swearing to God? His current love, his ex or himself?

Juan Gabriel was a genius like Michael Jackson since he was very young he had such a talent to sing and to compose music. He still underrated Juan Gabriel needs to be immortalized all over the world his music is beyond beautiful.

JG was a unique jewel in the music industry. He was not only a singer, but song writer most of his songs, if not all. He also wrote and gifted some songs to other artists he would say it was from his heart and to help a friend out- and they became rich and famous. He recently died of a heart attack not too long ago. JG lived his life helping so many people beginning with his mother, family and people in his hometown. He was such a great artist in many ways not only talent wise. Glad you’re a fan of his.

He was called the Divo of Juarez... and with this video you can see why! Such lovely man, just amazing. I listen to Juanga since I'm a lill girl, my mom was a great fan so do I. He is one of the best from México.

My Mom passed away a few years ago and she LOVED Juan Gabriel. It was his music we listened to growing up and while we were forced to clean house with on Saturday mornings. When JuanGa passed I mourned for my Mom again. He was a tremendous talent but personally he was a bridge to connecting to my Mothers memory. For that I'll forever be grateful. Thank you Mr. Davis. I was working in Camachos cantina in universal studios city walk & he was going to have a concert that night at universal theater so the owner knowing the promoters they ask him if Juan culd have breakfast at camachos cantina that morning so we open only for him befor he went for hes sound check so he was the only one at the restaurant , ive heard jaun gabriels music growing up but nevert took much intrested on him or music but the day I meet him he was the most genuine man sooo HUMBLE & loving person I've ever meet in my life honest to god from there every time I explain to people I get chills & fell so honored to had meet him ,god blessed hes beautiful soul....
