I am so sorry about your family's loss, Valerie. That's the last thing I expected to hear, may God give your daughter the strength to keep going.

This is legit one performance I cant watch WITHOUT crying. I love that this song impressed you so much because this performance was LEGENDARY.

This is the third vocal coach that I’ve heard listen to this song and I’ve heard every single one of them have said “oh honey” after she choked up and stopped singing.

She is very under-rated as a vocalist. Her Grammy performance was so heart-breaking to watch and listen to, I know I cried with her also. Thank you for reacting to this performance.

Can we talk about the songwriting. What a great song!

This song was recorded a few days before her overdose and this was her first performance since her overdose. That’s also why she starts crying and the story of the song is also a reason to cry. She did an amazing job for a comeback on stage.

As Demi impressed you and you will be following her, you impressed me bye your being so open and also explaining wath is happening, I cried along with you and I'll will be following you from now on I'm so sorry for your loss

I too never really followed Demi, but this song totally knocked me out. You must listen also to Stone Cold live. She is a beast when she sings. We lost our nephew in a car accident five years ago. His wife gave birth to their son two months later. She was too distraught to care for the baby. I brought the him home with me thinking that I could help her, but she never really engaged with him. At 50, with my youngest son about to graduate from high school, my husband and I found ourselves starting over with a newborn. Eventually, we adopted him, and he is now five years old. I wish your family the best of everything.

Such a heartbreaking song, such a bittersweet song. Written 4 days before their overdose, this was Demi's first performance in months after. Glad their still alive ❤️

I didn't start crying until you did...lol I never cry, but this reaction with headphones =😭 People forget that this was Demi's first performance since she almost died, so it was beyond emotional. Demi is a warrior and her voice so incredible!

I love it when music and singing makes the listener cry. Magic.

Stone Cold live at billboard’s women in music - I LOVED THIS LIVE

Ive literally watched that video has to be a hundred times & cant get thru it w/o crying. Its not a song you listen to,its a song you FEEL in yout spirit and touches the deepest darkest crevices of pain. Everyone can relate to this song, dont have to have struggled with addiction to feel this song. Life touching, what all music should be!! Its art. THIS is art. Shes a gem❤❤❤

My initial thought: I love that you didn't stop & start the song a bunch throughout like like many other vocal reactions I've seen. 2nd: Love how much this song touched you. Love how you showed such emotion & vulnerability. 3rd: Thank you for sharing your story of grief with all of us.

This song is about forgiveness to her dad just passed away before she wrote the song . Her father had been trouble to her family and she cut off the connection with him for years

demi has a lot of great songs and several sober and sobriety songs, i only know this cos i relate to demi greatly in many ways except i had been suffering yrs from addiction and yesterday was my sobriety birthday i have been clean 4 yrs. and i sing her songs daily to get me through and remind me of the pain so i don't go backwards. thank you for this. she has a song called sober and dancing with the devil is really one everyone should see like that would be a great one to react to

Her performance was so beautiful and real! I keep watching different reactions to it, and get tears in my eyes every time. 🌹

I am so sorry to hear your family’s loss, I know how hard it can be. My daughters boyfriend of 2 yrs (her first ever partner) tried to kill my daughter (shot at her repeatedly) and killed my daughters friend (who happened to be in my daughters apt at the time). Hardest thing I’ve ever gone through was being at that young mans funeral giving my condolences to a mother who’s child was taken from her when mine was the intended target. Sending healing prayers your way. 💛💜

I love love loved this reaction video! To do what she did at the moment, in front of that audience, is truly stunning. I showed this performance to several of my students too because I was so incredibly impressed with her. I cry every time that I've watched it. Truly powerful, and what a belt. Demi's openness and honesty and telling an addict's internal pain and loneliness has been so important to me personally. This song speaks to me and expresses the words I can't find. So does her song dancing with the devil because it's the truth of how we can descend so quickly from sobriety to overdosing so quickly.
