When Angelina is finished singing, you can see in her eyes how she is replaying and scoring herself on how she did with the song. She is reliving it in fast time, for memory, and for improvement or variation next time. She is more than a prodigy. She is everything she can be in music.

When Angelina sings this, she doesn´t only do that. It sounds like she lives it. You can see her make a painting of the lyrics if you shut your eyes while you listen to it. She has such an integrity when she sings

To me, your comment about the difference between Angelina Jordan and other child/teen singers that are obviously "coached" is spot on. I've seen a bunch of them on KZread and some are very talented, there's a 14-15yo Irish singer Allie Sherlock who has a very, very good voice. She's certainly not some Miley Cyrus "image singer", she can actually sing. The difference between Angelina Jordan and Allie Sherlock is night and day to me though. Angelina looks so natural, totally natural even at a younger age, where as a lot of the vids i've seen of Allie she jusst looks like she's trying to go through the "process" of singing. It's like she's trying to think back on all her coaching lessons and go through it step by step, where as it's just all natural with Angelina. I have no doubt both will have great singing careers, but to me.... Angelina has the potential to go down as a legend. She has that extra thing that most singers just don't have.

I don’t know what it is about her voice. Just about any song she sings makes me cry a good cry. Not many things in life does this to me . My heart is somehow in line with the tone of her voice. The sound of her voice is so soothing and hypnotic that my mind goes to places in my past. Some memories are sorrowful and painful and just by listening to her angelic voice some how makes everything better and replaces them with joy and happiness. Voices like this only come once in a life time. God Bless You Angelina Jordan! Thank you for precious gift you have given the world with your songs.

If it's possible, my eyelashes get goosebumps, whenever I hear this young girl sing & Freddie Mercury would be so proud 💕 She sews her own clothes, is instrumental in the arrangements of the cover songs she sings, & has a huge heart, going barefoot in remembrance of the girl she met once, who had no shoes, What can I say, except **WOW** 💕 Side note: A lot of people say how much she sounds like Amy Winehouse, Billie Holiday, & Nora Jones, & she does, however, for me, I get a beautiful renaissance feeling of the late great, Bessie Smith 💕💕💕 GREAT REACTION !!!

Thank you for a very nice Angelina Jordan reaction. She made all the musical arrangements for her I Putt A Spell On You cover, and is known for coming to rehearsals and handing out her hand written arrangements to each musician. Angelina has very wise and caring parents that wants her to be a child for as long as possible, so Angelina only holds a few concerts each year, some in the summer and some Christmas concerts. Her parents have turned down several big record labels and Disney because they want Angelina to have control over her own career when the time comes to really go for it, but for now they just want her to be the young teenager she is. I want to beg you to react to another extraordinary Norwegian artist, the magical Aurora. She is the artist that is singing Into the Unknown with Idina Kim Menzel in the upcoming Frozen 2 movie and the one who sang Baby Mine in the Dumbo trailer. This might make you think she is an ordinary singer, but she is far form it. She never wanted to be an artist, but a song was leaked online and management came calling, because of this she was only willing to go along with it if she could do it and at the same time be honest to who she is, and she has threatened to stop being an artist if she can not do it her way. When Aurora was six years old, she found a keyboard in the attic and started to play, she discovered that she could play Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata bye ear and started writing melodies as a diary for herself and when she was nine years old, she started to write lyrics. Aurora's family did not know she sang until she was fourteen years old. I suggest you react to her performing her song Runaway at the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert, as she has said it is the best way to get into her music, and it is unbelievable that such a young girl could write so deep lyrics. She wrote the song in one hour when she was eleven years old. She looks young at the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert, but she was nineteen years old. kzread.info/dash/bejne/eJdrurmQj6jOkps.html AURORA - RUNAWAY - The 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert

at 18 months she was singing whitney huston, she taught herself to sing and in English by listening to you tube and playing the sons over and over till she learned them. She has over 110 videos on you tube with over 300 million hits she loves amy weinhouse, etta james, billie holiday, frank sinatra, whitney , lana del ray, adell and elvis, she has an incredible range, at 7 years she first sang gloomy sunday by billie holiday, then bang bang by nancy sintra and finally the winning performance, summertime, this was not a children's contest she beat out everybody including the adults. Her parents are very protective of her, and wanted her to have as normal a childhood which is why not to many people on the US have heard of her.She has performed in many countries and is very comfortable in both small venues as well as in front of huge crowds. When she was eight she was on the View and sang fly me to the moon. She has also written 3 songs and is currently in the us in LA working on her first album of all original songs. She has met and impressed many famous people and opened the 80th birthday party for Quincy Jones, who by the way adores her and has personally worked with her. She is also the youngest published author ever in Norway. She plays the piano, guitar paints and makes a lot of her own clothes

She channeled here the great Screamin Jay Hawkins as you see his face in the mug she's holding at the beginning of the video. Angelina Jordan is an old soul. She loves to listen to the great old songs from the past. She started very young as you said she won Norway's Got Talent at age of 8 singing the great blues and jazz songs from decades back. She's 13 now and she chose to be an independent artist prioritizing her studies and had lived the normal kid's and early teen's life. She is so passionate about her music that she doesn't want anybody to like intervene or alter her music. She has done a lot of cover songs and 3 original songs to date. Angelina Jordan has very unique and lovable personality. I suggest you try to watch her performances in NGT and be amaze yourself. Thankyou for reacting to her. ☺️

Don't think of Angelina as a child, that's a mistake we've all made. She always sing with absolute confidence in her ability to perform. She should, she does. Be assured that whatever sound she makes she wanted it that way. Most her of YT performances are far less elaborate, sometimes singing with a single guitar in a home studio yet she blows your mind every time. I cannot sing but I think she is musical genius. You call it "organic". She started SINGING, not merely listening to jazz at 18 months of age. She won Norway's Got Talent while still growing out of her baby teeth.

My reaction to Angelina is personal, and I can tell you I have not heard a more "organic" voice than this young woman, not in many, many years...and I am in my late 70's. I can feel the emotion the song embodies when she sings. She can convey the emotion of the song without using overly dramatic gimmics. And she does this with many different genres. I look forward to more of your experiences with Angelina...you will not be disappointed...

Thank you for this exeption from youre normal, about doing children singing. It so nice to hear an voice teachers reacting and giving comments on Angelina. There are so many questions around her uniknes, how what she does is even possible. Your right - she is different, she is in a lieg of herself. All this comments and great words, trying to describe her exeptional talent. So again thank youfor giving us your coments on her performans (or hopfully a number of her performansES). I think maybe you will agree with us, this big bunch og sworn Angelina fans you`r about to get in touch with. Listening to her singing is a pure threet to our heart and soul, as well as our ears and minds, - and even lives. Based on this first reaction of yours i think you will feel both love and respect if you will take the journey together with us along Angelinas so far 5 -6 year long career. Every song of hers, from the start at Norske Talenter (Norwegian Tallents) when she did "Gloomy Sunday" from Billie Holliday ( some audition I must say, and she was only 7 YO then) and up to her latest videos - not at least the wonderfull Classical song "A song for A". Russian composer Nico Cartosio made this as he composed new music to an anchient Scottish poem, all for Angelina to sing. This was made for being the ending of his newest record, and is the only piece whith vocals in it. If you do her NT perfomanses for a start, may be two at the time (Some reactors have done that before). Like Her singing Billie Hollidays "Gloomy Sunday" and "I`m a fool to want you" (Very shortend version) together, and then her Sinatra version og "Bang Bang - my baby shot me down and Ella Fitzgeralds "Summertime". As you understand, I so want you to react to more of Angelina Jordans stunning performanses. We are here to listen to you (and Angelina) any day, and every day. Never get too much of here singing.

Thank you for your very fine reaction to Angelina. I am delighted that you have discovered the most versatile singer living today. You mention "negative spaces" which is a phrase I have never heard before but hey! I am not trained in music. Perhaps it is what I mean when I tell people who first discover Angelina to "listen to the silence". If you continue to react to her many performances, and I hope you do, you are in for many pleasurable hours of excellent performances and your life will be changed for ever, I have listened to everything she has published on KZread and have often been surprised at her versatility but never disappointed by her performance. Listening to Angelina perform is an emotional experience in itself. In an imaginative moment I likened Angelina to a chameleon, inasmuch as a chameleon adapts its colour to blend with the surroundings, so Angelina adapts the "colour" of her voice to convey the emotions of the song and communicate those emotions to the listener. I follow a number of young singers through KZread and do so because their singing appeals to *my* emotions but good as they are and as much as I admire them, there is not one of them who can match Angelina's sheer ability and artistry in being able to sing so many musical genre with the emotion that the song deserves. And she does this without any dramatic gestures or vocal gymnastics but just by the sheer ability to know what is required of the song. I am a rather cynical 88 year old male and she has me in tears with her performances and I am in awe of her.

Thank You so much for reacting to Angelina! She also has many more sounds and styles for you to discover. ...And because Angelina is new to you and maybe some of your followers, here is my little bio on her... *Angelina Jordan* - Angelina Jordan was born Jan 10 2006 in Oslo, Norway. She is currently 13 (9 in this performance) - She began singing at the age of one and a half - At 2 or 3 she discovered Jazz through KZread videos and started studying all the greats from Jazz history. - Angelina always sings barefoot..... When Angelina was 6, she was traveling with her grandmother and met a poor girl with no shoes trying to make money on the streets. The girl complimented her on her pretty shoes, so Angelina took them off and gave them to the girl. She made a vow to always sing barefoot until all the children of the world could have shoes. To this day, whenever Angelina is performing in public, she sings barefoot to remind us that there are less fourtunate people in the world that could use our help. (that's a shortened version. the full story is more touching than the way I have told it here). When Angelina was 9 years old she wrote a book about the story that can be purchased on her website. (angelinajordanofficial) - She has always been the driving force behind her own singing career. It was her that asked her mother to take her to Norways Got Talent, where she auditioned at 7 years old and went on to win the show at just 8 years old. - In an interview after the show, when asked what she was going to do with the prize money, the 8 year old replied, "I would like to give it to orphans that need clothes and shoes" - The reason you may not have heard of her is because her parents are very protective of her childhood. They do not want her to be thrust into stardom before she has a chance to grow up as a normal child, and finish her education. They allow her to do a few select shows (mainly private and charity events) with a couple public shows every year when she is out of school. Her mother said in an interview that they have turned down 90% of the offers that come in. I have heard they have turned down offers from many major record labels and even disney. - Angelina has covered more than 100 songs over the last 6 years. She always selects the songs herself... everything ranging from old classic jazz to modern pop. She is able to change her voice to match any song she sings and make it her own. (she can cover Amy Winehouse and Lana del Rey like nobody else) - Angelina has collaborated with some very big names over the last few years... Quincy Jones, Mark Ronson, David Foster, and many more. All of which heard her covering their songs and were blown away by her talent. - Angelina has written three of her own original songs: "What is Life", "Shield" and "Oslo". (all are amazing...all can be found on youtube) In summary, Angelina Jordan is destined to be one of the greatest singers to have ever lived. This is just my opinion, but if you listen closely to any of her stuff you will hear the greatness. She sings with a natural style. There is no acting, no showing off, there are no unnecessary runs, or big belty notes just for the purpose of saying "hey look at me sing". She once said "when I sing I go into a magical world in my head", and you can always hear the results of that. When Angelina sings it is pure soul, pure emotion, pure music.

you have some great insights into anjelina. she's not a moneymaker - shes the GOAT...she is remaining independent. she has turned down disney ,french musicals, major recording contracts. all the insiders know her and want a piece of her.. started at 1-2 yrs old - fell in love with jazz and classical standards. she will b 14 in jan so she has been singing and refining these songs for 12 years. Angelina ... - I love all music, but jazz touches and warms my heart. The lyrics are about our everyday lives, so it's easy to convey that music, the 8-year-old has previously stated .here's a interview with anjelina- u will better understand her. The eight-year-old, who hails from Oslo, is among the contestants in Friday's episode of the talent competition "Norwegian Talents" on TV 2. - I wasn't nervous because I had been waiting for this for so long. I was very excited and eager to show that I could sing. If I don't have faith in myself, no one else can have faith in me either, says Angelina to VG. She says that she has learned to sing by listening to music on discs and KZread. - I've received many CDs with jazz as a gift from grandma and dad. At school I have a singing teacher and I practice every single day. Gives the judges chops Angelina performs "Gloomy Sunday", made famous by her great idol, Billie Holiday, in 1941. The melancholy song is about a sad Sunday, where a man is abandoned by his loved one. The jury gets the hang of the performance - and Angelina gets a pat on the audience in the hall. But if it is enough to move on, TV viewers will not know until Friday evening. VGTV: Watch the performance here Touched by jazz - She discovered Billy Holiday completely by herself, and fell for exactly this song. In the beginning, I think it was a bit too "heavy" song for a five year old to sing, laughs mom Sara Astar. Angelina started singing when she was a year and a half, and discovered jazz when she was two. - I love all music, but jazz touches and warms my heart. The lyrics are about our everyday lives, so it's easy to convey that music, says the 8-year-old. She has previously performed at several jazz festivals, and at the Melafestival in City Hall Square. The first time she performed to a large audience was at International AIDS Day in Oslo in December. Proud mother - This is an incredibly special one, and we think it's amazing that she has managed to impress so many with her voice. What many probably think is special is that she has such an adult voice, says mom Sara to VG. But the mother would not take any credit for Angelina's beautiful and distinctive singing voice. - She does not come from any distinctive musical family, for neither me nor my husband is engaged in music. The grandmother is an artist and loves music, so that's probably where she got the inspiration from, she says. The eight-year-old has already set great goals for the future, and says she wants to share her music with the world. - My goal is to convey something that is beautiful to people. I want to share my love of music with the rest of the world. My dream is to be the youngest to perform at the Nobel Concert. Then I can convey my message of peace and that everyone must help children who are hurting, not least those who are suffering in Syria. All children need to experience seeing their dreams come true, says Angelina. BTW anjelina sang at the noble concert several months after winning NGT at 8 yrs. she sang "what a wonderful world" not only was it captivating she owned the stage and the audience and u could see the pride just oozing out of anjelina as this was a dream..kzread.info/dash/bejne/e4qtzKeqcqupkag.html .english is her 3rd language. plays piano, violin, flute and guitar. writes own music and has rewritten a couple of amy winehouse songs. "back to black"and "rehab" which she named "back to school"has over a 100 covers and u will b hard pressed to find one that is not better than original.. thank u for reacting to the BAREFOOT ANGEL OF NORWAY>>>it was very insightful of u. u picked out some traits of anjelina that most reactors do not catch on so quick.. loved ur analysis... You are now heading down the rabbit hole! Once you hear one song, you are hooked! You just HAVE to hear more. She won Norways got Talent at the age of 8 (she was 7 when first auditioned for it). Have no fears about her. Her parents, especially her mother, have kept her bare feet firmly on the ground, limiting what she does publicly. About the bare feet. Not sure where she was at the time, but a poor child with no shoes admired Angelina's shoes; Angelina gave them to her and swore to go barefoot at all her concerts in memory of that child and any others in the same position. She wrote a book about that experience; she's the youngest Norwegian published author. Someone commented on another reaction video: Quincy Jones arranged Fly Me To The Moon for Frank Sinatra. Angelina did a cover of that song. Now she collaborates with Quincy Jones. Mark Ronson produced Valerie for Amy Winehouse. Angelina did a cover of that song. Now she collaborates with Mark Ronson. David Foster wrote I Have Nothing for Whitney Houston. Angelina did a cover of that song. Now she collaborates with David Foster. She has also sang with Allan Walker. She was 10yo. kzread.info/dash/bejne/pWmNrtKNmJfSadI.html As if that wasn't enough; she is fluent in Norwegian, English, Iranian and is leaning Japanese She plays piano, violin and guitar and writes her own songs now. New album of her songs coming out in December.

Hello. She has been a fenomenon in Norway since 2014, when she was eight. It is mainly old school jazz, so she doesnt attract the biggest crowd outside Norway, but she also has some fantastic interpretations of Stay, A million years ago, and Born to die, among others, from when she was 12.

You touched here on something really interesting that I haven't really heard before. Angelina has grown up listening to and singing jazz and other great music since she was literally a baby. When she sings, feels less like a construction and more like a controlled release, letting something inside her flow out. It sound cheesy, but it really does feel like this music is an extension of who she is. I grew up with music, singing in.choirs when I was younger and then playing drums. :D. Music absolutely is a passion for me. But I played songs. Sometimes I even played them with passion, but the songs didn't inhabit my soul the way they seem to do for Angelina. I'm pretty sure it doesn't for very many people (including all those precocious pre-teen opera stars and alt-folk-pop growlers). I think that likely comes from 1) genes (or reincarnation, if you prefer :D ), 2) immense talent, 3) intense exposure to advanced music songs from a very early age and 4) a lot of development - coaching, lessons and practice.

If you want your bean really spun, listen to her audition for Norway's Got Talent. She sings, 'I'm A Fool To Want You' a cappella. She did this when she was 7 yrs. old. She won the whole competition at 8 yrs. old. I only recommend this because you know you shouldn't be hearing what you're hearing. Just the fact that without prompts or even a start note, she launches into this song like someone who has lived a life with that kind of pain. And she never hits a wrong note or loses the beat, it is all contained in that little body. Another thing, she has never shown an ounce of fear or apprehension. She also has very definite ideas on how the song will go. If you watch the intro to this song you see her writing notes on the crib sheet, then you see the conductor reading them and smiling. She is telling him some late changes to the arrangement. She 'hears' the song in her head and wants to sing it that way. She is most definitely an angel. P.S. There is another young singer I wish you would listen to, since you've dipped your toe in that pool. Her name is Daneliya Tuleshova and she is about the same age as Angelina and is a completely different style of singer, but is similar in her being an old soul in a young body. Watch her audition for The Voice Ukraine Kids, she sings 'Stone Cold' by Demi Lavatto. She is 10 yrs. old at the time. I promise you won't be disappointed.

I listen all her covers and with her smokey , raspy voice and her emotions when she sing, all covers are better than original songs. I just love her. She is amazing now and she will be huge legend one day. Please react her performance on AGT Champions where she got golden buzzer for her rendition Bohemian rapsody. This performance is stuning. Even Queen Woows her performance on Twitter. Will be mesmerizing if Angelina and Queen do this song together one day.

She was barely 9 here. Now she's almost 14 years old. She has always been called an old soul. Her voice is very deep now, like a contralto. She's even 6' tall now so she surely doesn't look like a child. She actually found her way to jazz by herself using KZread on her iPad when she was a little kid. Her parents were as surprised as anyone else when they noticed she had an extraordinary talent. Angelina has done more than 100 covers and even some originals. Today her voice is mature enough for her to launch a career. However her parents are holding back until she has finished school. So they have refused offers from many record companies. They want her to grow up as normal as possible and not make her a star too early. Angelina moved from Oslo to LA last year. She already has connections with legendary people in the music business like Quincy Jones, David Foster and Mark Ronson. E. G. She attended Quincy Jones' birthday party last year in London singing "Fly Me To The Moon" for him. Quincy Jones said Angelina is the biggest talent he has seen since Michael Jackson. So Angelina is definitely not just one of the many child prodigies. You will be stunned about some of her more recent songs including originals. Right now she is working on a new album of originals with several of them being jazz. Here are some of her recent songs to react to. "Someone Like You" by Adele: kzread.info/dash/bejne/fKajscimeqjbnbg.html "Song For A" by Nico Cartosio" kzread.info/dash/bejne/dKNnz8qxgLCTpaQ.html Nico wrote this song specifically for Angelina. Hi greetings from Norway. This was a good reaction. I'm always happy when I see new people discover her for the first time. But many stop to react to her after this video, which is a pity. I first discovered Angelina Jordan Astar when she first participated in Norway's got talent 2014, when she was 7 and 8 years old. ( here is a video clip from the finals: kzread.info/dash/bejne/m3aKx5hxqLyroMY.html ) I still remember that I was shocked in a positive way, and I have ever since that time been a fan. A fan of a child. I wouldn't believed it if you had asked me 10 years ago. I have never been interested in the jazz music genre , but Angelina's interpretations of old jazz music classics has "opened my eyes" for that kind of music for sure, and in a way "touched me". In the past year she has posted some great covers of modern music as well. As many has written she has released some original songs. One of them is her song Shield, which has already been covered in a song competition. ( You can find the cover of Angelina's song "Shield" here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lJiJw6mvlLOypag.html ) Here is some more performances by Angelina Jordan which may be a suggestions to listen to as well: ‎kzread.info/dash/bejne/jIeayaWCd8edm5c.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/e3eNk9eDlZSbk7A.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/pqN7xbGliL22idI.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/onaD0aaRdseqZ5M.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/imqdj7dmitnAlMo.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/qX-MyMOnhreunco.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZWydycOkeM6fj6w.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/omyfo65mo6qwqJs.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/amVtxLNyeZC6Xco.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/qYSar9yGlaWyktI.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z3yGlKmJYaiqopM.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/d3Z9ma2mY92dXbg.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/kXuHuLKvc9yZico.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/doKJj6qcfNi1j6w.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/g3yA1ryKY9avp6g.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/fniFj9ueh9TTlbg.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/dKpk1Jlwe7GdgqQ.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/laaiydCooZO9fMY.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/mYyDstKwpcaqido.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/d3Z9ma2mY92dXbg.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/pKhqrcp7qMzHdNI.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/kXuHuLKvc9yZico.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/paWhrK6kl86Yec4.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/aK2fu9KqnJXToJs.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/oXWIp7mzetvQY84.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/enmhmdaAos2ve84.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/iJ2CycyfosaXlLQ.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/pWmNrtKNmJfSadI.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/aXyVr9ikls-ocdI.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/fpaMt62zf9unc7g.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/lICpsLNvo5rMc7Q.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/noWot8SPe8WWptY.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZaSmqbahnq_PnJc.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/mYyDstKwpcaqido.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/pKhqrcp7qMzHdNI.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/paWhrK6kl86Yec4.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z22gw7J7dKngnJM.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/oXmZp9ermtTKh8o.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/hIOnz8Z9pc2qeJs.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/aIJ-2JJrn9ebmso.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/mH5tx9dwoaXPp7Q.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/qXl52LOcgsm4odY.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/mqCdk8ium5vggbQ.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/hneXlrujosyZoMY.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/l4iX2NiIZqWZedI.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/pWmNrtKNmJfSadI.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/dKKB28ORcda8g9I.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/iKWNsZVpqqWcdLg.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/f3Vn16tmkrLQhMY.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/daahlappqbTSpag.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/eWeo2ZmDadCnqdo.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/e4qsq5mhqqbAcpM.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/eJ-irLmkj5mrn9Y.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y6x6pKmvirOnhdI.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/k3x7tdWqgbLZZaw.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/mZ-hzqpso6zKfMY.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/iY2HrJODlN3eYZM.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/ioJlksqAirmtcpc.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/mpmMtI98lsfgmqg.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZmaYrtyIpZC6fps.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/e4l12KeogNu0pto.html For more information regarding Angelina Jordan Astar, visit her website: www.angelinajordanofficial.com en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angelina_Jordan

Hi and welcome in the world of Angelina Jordan. Your now official get spelled and be a fan forever ;)"" What makes this song much more impressive is she wrote this tribute to screaming Jay Hawkins the guy on the cup on begin by herself. You can get in on KZread if you know the original you can see this brilliancy of a 8 year old girl to make it to her own. She belongs to a small circle of singers who can reach 5 octaves. One of her best songs ins "Born to die" so if you like react or listen by a cap of coffee to this one. And your right Bessie Smith she sounds a bit like her. I relay like to see you reacting to other Angelina songs. Best Chris

Too many times people are quick to Judge based on age. She looks to be 9 here and has the pipes most professionals could only dream of having. Granted the voice changes once puberty sets in so by 14-16 we'll all know for sure just how far she can go, but if I were to judge based on this I'd say she's well on her way to interstellar space as far as singing goes. Most pro's we buy albums from these days are no further than the Moon or maybe Mars just to paint a clearer picture, this style of control of voice is something you are born with not trained in.

Val, the things that stand out the most for me, other than her other worldly singing voice, is her uncanny level of maturity and professionalism. Watching her behavior during this session was quite surprising in that Angelina’s behavior is the antithesis of what is expected of a nine year old singer. She conducted herself like a much older seasoned veteran. She controlled everything in that performance including the band. She wrote the arrangement. When we saw her writing in the beginning of the video and then saw the music producer respond with a smile to what she wrote she had made a request to have the piano player change the way he played the song according to her recommendation.
