I think the meaning of this song lies in the fact that most people see vocaloid as tools, and with the next update each vocaloid version is discarded. As soon as something better comes up, that person is thrown away. It seems as if they've gotten used to it, as if it's happened to them their whole life, but still tells the listener, you, "I am more than what you see." And "I will show you what I can be." They haven't given up on hope that the listener will recognize that they are a human too, and will treat them like one. Or they are desperately grasping to not be thrown away again, to actually have some value so that they will not be discarded.

I've got this weird idea that the song is from Luka's perspective as an older voicebank with a really late reboot that got a lot of criticism. This is the probably the last we'll see of her for a while, as far as another update goes. I personally don't think her V4X is that much different, so it’s almost like she’s stuck repeating what she already was. Another well-made Circus song nonetheless! :^)

This song came out when I was in middle school. It gave me strength and confidence to go to class everyday even though I was bullied. The lyrics make me think that the song is about knowing who you are no matter what society or others paint you as, whether heartless, obsolete, or inhuman. Everyone faces some form of oppression and slander in their lives, which can seemingly turn the world upside down. But in the end we hold all the cards.

Vocaloid isn't really as popular as you think in the west (not including the small population that we are and the anime-loving population) and, with a few exceptions, are not deemed "understandable" to many people. This doesn't mean that they are, it's just they are not really used to the "accent" we have grown accustomed to hearing and love (not "clear" English as I hear some first-timers, but an enforced attempt with satisfactory, though this is many times proven to not be true. I am a fan of Cyber Diva and I still have a hard time understanding her sometimes, even when she sounds as real as a person I am conversing with but, over time, I could understand her, even when unclear). Even so, people prefer to hear music in the terms of something that is over-spiced with rhythm, something they can dance to, with no expressive form of deep emotion and chock full of catchy lyrics (most of the time simply speaking drugs, alcoholism, and deeming lustful desire as "love"). Again, this may not be true for a selected few songs but true for the rest. Circus is amongst the many producers that fill their songs with that missing piece of sentimentality and that uplifting beat and should have more recognition but, like I said, a lot of people don't know about this other amazing genre of music. Though it would be pretty cool to have a station only playing Vocaloid :-D

I know Vocaloid isn't anime and it was very ignorant of me to say that (for that, I apologize sincerely). But the rest of the population (that have no idea what Vocaloid is) doesn't know that. Usually, like a great crowd of people in my university, would usually classify it as anime (and trust me, it bugs me too.) +Pixel Nerd As a MikuLuka shipper, I like to think that in these two songs, Miku thought that nobody loved her, but Luka ended up forming a close emotional bond with her. This is her retaliation song after Miku killed herself. Or perhaps Miku's suicide attempt failed and Luka is trying to prove that she can help her. You can also a bit of Lie in her eyes as well, maybe she starts to believe that her friendship and feelings for Miku were a lie.

Yeah lie is in there it's hard to notice though since it only shows the white squares on the floor

I think this was the song I suddenly remembered the beat to a week ago and then it popped on youtube and im so happy cause THIS IS STILL A BANGER. I listened to it everyday in high school! Its so good and made me feel so much

My brain's autocorrect is too good I never heard "melons are toxic now" I always heard "my lungs", I think I spend too much time around people who can't speak.

I don't know why, but this song always reminds me of my experiences with nonbinary dehumanisation. The amount of times people will treat me as what I appear on surface level ("I am more than what you can see!") and how they always start acting like I'm a robot or a shell when I explain who I really am to them ("I'm a broken frame, I'm just fun and games"). It's a weird feeling, really.

I relate to this song, and I really love this song so much that I can hear it on repeat.

I LOVE ALL OF THE IMAGES IN THE EYES I love how you use other songs and lyrics in her eyes. It make you realize that each album is about one person and their hardships. It makes you have such a greater understanding for the songs that you make and do a fantastic job on, Circus P thank you for all of your hard work

I have heard “my lungs” since I first heard it. I was confused for a while about the melons joke until someone explained it in the comments.
