I feel that Aurora's version of this song really brings out the emotions of doubt, trepidation, longing, to embrace.. the unknown.

Yes, beautifully said, Nathan! Her music is transformative.

The way I see it, this song has always belonged to Aurora. She was the only constant. The song was released at the same time as the movie in all countries, sung in the respective national languages, by different singers. Only Aurora has always been the north wind and here she sings everything on her own. This is Aurora's song. In this respect, it is not a cover, but simply an alternative version.

Disney made a big mistake not having Aurora perform this song for the movie,the very essence of Aurora the queen who comes from the very land of the frozen the embodiment of what the movie is about should of been seen miles away.and honestly Aurora stands out above anyone as the best singer storyteller out there putting you into the very place that she is seeing when she sings.Aurora is simply a Genius ❤️

Thanks for checking out Auroras amazing version of this song. The harp sound is a Kilmba, not a harp and Aurora does all the vocals, including the choral sounds. This was a project with just Aurora and her best friend, drummer and co-producer Magnus.

You should check out Live at the current, Aurora, It happened quiet. It is my absolute favourite Aurora performance. It has amazing harmonies and ethereal qualities, and a different feel to the other versions of that song.

This is a lovely rendition of the original song, I love it, prefer it to the original, but, big but, I miss her siren call, lol... I love when her backing vocals are her own voice layered, so beautiful... great reaction.

Sorry I missed the premiere, I was not at home. Aurora said she was learning to play the harp already back in 2017. But we never saw her play the harp live as far as I know. There is an image of her with a harp in a studio, but I'm not sure if she actually played the harp herself on any of her songs, there is another harp player often credited Ruth Potter, she is the one playing in Nidarosdomen.

But in 2020 she knew that the world needed some love (pandemic). She wrote “A Potion For Love” at the same time in 2017, but this song wasn’t released until july 2021, and only as a B-side on the “Cure For Me” vinyl single. A year later she finally released it digitally, and at the same time she released this beautiful performance. This is also a love song, but seen from the other perspective 👍

Auroras voice sounds like, i imagine a fairy sounds, or a sirene... does that make sense ?? Her voice gives me goosebumps and chills though ❤️ And so cool that she comes from my town here in Norway ❤️ Actually have seen her walking in the town here a few times, but never wanted to bother her ❤️

Not to be mean, but you didn't leave him much room to react unbiasedly, as you pretty much clearly showcased your enthusiasm for the song throughout the whole video. So, I don't feel like I've truly seen his genuine first reaction, which is a shame since I believe people - or I, that is - watch these to see the music vividly take shape within the minds of the reactors. However, I also love this version very much, so I still enjoyed seeing you once again completely thrilled by the music... a bit of a double-edged sword, so to speak 😁.
