Geoff has mastered the SINISTER laugh. That's the word. 😉
Can you imagine the musical runs we'd get if they did a video with Omar AND Anthony Gargiula? (Hope I spelled that right!)
Go back and listen again, and this time, follow Geoff's SICK bass line. DAYUM.
Stevie Wonder originally released Superstition in 1973 - I love to hear the great songs brought back to life, especially by the acapella bands. They give them a whole new twist. Thanks for playing this & your comments.
Fyi: they chose this song during the epidemic because of the line "wash your face and hands" ... and it was the first song I used in English class with great success... they had so much fun with it!!🎉😂❤ Loved your reaction!
Whoa! I never noticed that "ugly" line before! You're so good at catching stuff like that!
For a special treat, watch Eli sing Superstition on stage with the band at the Bitter End in NYC several years ago. I believe it's on the Voiceplay channel.

I had it bookmarked because it’s one of my favorites. And Earl is singing back up for him! (and I can never determine whether or not that is Scott standing next to him. My eyes just aren’t good enough but it sure looks like him and they’re having way too much fun together!) www.google.com/url?q=m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DrSZSm_mrD60&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwjh3sfc0pyCAxWHiO4BHcVFCNUQwqsBegQIEhAG&usg=AOvVaw1QiqpU1bwiO4AZBF6zKMmO

It's called who is Eli Jacobson. Also known as Elijah Black. It's on a separate KZread video.
I adore the humor they bring to this. And the vocal arrangement is so creative.
Just so you know - the rap was written by Alfredo Austin, who is the same guy who wrote J's rap in "Valhalla Calling". Both very well written, yet exceptionally different from the other. This one is so clever and a bit funny, whereas the other one is much more military-like. And yes - this is one I listen to all the time. I loved the song way back when, but this is such a great version, too!

And Layne's funky beats? Especially spectacular!
DJ... Omar is the king of runs....and Eli enters stage right. 😂😂😂. The two tenors and J are all kings of runs

You can add Eli to that list as well. He is also an awesome rapper as well
You mentioned Geoff’s sinister laugh, but I’m surprised you didn’t say anything about his duplication of the original’s bass guitar line.
Great video, DJ...always enjoy you.
If you haven't heard those lyrics before, you haven't been listening. :) Those are the lyrics. Except for the rap of course that was written for this. Sorry but Eli has always been the master of riffs and runs.
I absolutely love your videos. I went down the rabbit hole of watching all of your VoicePlay at Home Free and Geoff Castellucci videos and the KZread algorithm is recommending you pretty much all the time now and I’m not mad at it lol
This one is such a fun one and is often overlooked, but i love it!😊💜💜🦌
Thanks Josh!
When Geoff does that deep laugh 03:53 I get hot chills lol. Because it's creepy and hot lol.
I think this is the way Stevie would do this song if he had it to do over again. I KNOW this is the way DJ would do it.
Nice reaction DJ! 😊
Love this! VP does such a good job, so glad you enjoyed it!
The 'rap' by J.None...was written by the same person, who wrote the 'rap' for Valhalla Calling...>^^
Thanks DJ 😊
I could listen to this any day (every day), but I associate it with Halloween because it was one of the songs featured in the Disney DTV Monster Hits special, back in the 80s.
About 3 yrs. I always put this on my list and encourage people to react to it - no matter when.
Love this song brings back my childhood!! Great reaction!!❤
They joked that this could be the next part of Trapped/Panic because they're dead. While they were filming Geoff was premiering "The Bones" if that helps with the timeline.
Great reaction!! I did not know they did this song!! Fantastic! - Maybe for my November birthday you can sneak in Toddy Spell Block Tango - it will be a treat for you too! Lovin' you! 😁
I always forget how good this one is ❤🏴
You gotta do Geoffs headless horseman it did win the Geoff poll this week pretty please 💋❤😊
