    I think that people get so caught up in her personal life and what she does off stage that they forget how truly talented Miley really is.

  • @truemenimprovedaily

    @truemenimprovedaily

    I disagree, people know how talented she is but her persona on and off stage along with her constant attempt at shock and awe distracts from her talent. I’m seeing glimpses at her dropping the persona and allowing people to see her talent front and center. I don’t blame people for not wanting to participate in her shenanigans and I personally won’t support artists that don’t put their talent up front and center. If all she was trying to do was be famous for anything other then her talent, she succeeded but why bother when she could be famous for her talent? She can be whoever she wants but doesn’t mean people have to like or support it. I listen for talent and support progress in that talent, everything else is a distraction or deterrent.

  • @AndreenMotorsports

    @@truemenimprovedaily you also have to remember that she was a child when she started. Like many other child stars, she lost it for a few years and kind of went off on a left turn. This is really common and I think it has a lot to do with not having a childhood and completely missing their teen years. Lindsay Lohan is another good example. For teens to have strong mental health they need relationships with their peers and time to do stupid teen stuff, not be working 14hr days and traveling the country to work even more. Meanwhile they are hanging out with adults that are either pushing them to make more and more money or trying to get some of their money. When these kids grow up and realize in their mid to late 20s that they finally have freedom, they go slightly insane for a few years. Like I said, people only concentrate on the shenanigans. If people didn't make a big deal of it they may not continue the insanity but they get so much press they keep at it. Bottom line is, she is extremely talented and her personal life will never change that.

    @@AndreenMotorsportsoh absolutely 💯 correct on everything! Unfortunately also the media gave her a lot of negative publicity and focused on her antics more than her talent. Kudos to her because she honestly didn't go off the deep end and had the strength and presence of mind to make positivite, healthier and cleaner lifestyle changes. But people still harp on her past antics instead of focusing on how phenomenal she has become through the years. I have always looked past her BS because she was trying so hard to run away from the Hannah Montana image and listened to her speak and the thi gs that she does to help people. She is extremely kind, caring and has a big heart. Hope she gets more recognition for her work. Time she got nominated for a Geammy. She is one of the very few versatile singers of our time.

    I think the difference between December 2018 and may 2019 is so massive. It got soo much deeper and then in late 2019 she had the surgery. Funny coincidence that the wildfire in which she lost her house happened at the end of 2018 and her divorce happened in early 2019.. So I guess these experiences really impacted her voice

    I actually love the changes in her voice. It really sets her apart, and you can tell she's learned a lot of singing techniques for a lower voice with less of a range. The thing is, though, she's making more of it now than she did when she was younger. I think she was thrown into a grind before she understood what was happening and what she was doing. Now, she's much more in control, and it feels more like a choice to be doing things her way. Anyway, I saw a clip from a year ago, and was so impressed with how she goes in and owns the songs that she's singing. She's putting so much more into her work - more craft, less karaoke.

    Miley Cyrus has always been my “guilty pleasure” artist. I love her tone, I love the rasp, I love her evolution. I believe after her bangerz album and tour, she realized she needed to see a doctor and get help on how to support her voice, but honestly her music lately has been so great she’s moved into one of my favorite artists. Her voice matches her old soul and I love it!

    Yeah, you can see that she's good and a instictive singer for keeping so much control even with the damaged vocal cords, but I remember her saying in a Interview that it made her voice instable, qnd that in 2018/2019 it actually used to hurt when she was sing. So proud of her and her effort to get healthy, so she can still do this when she's 80, like she said herself.

    Also as my observation, when she sings mixed voice at the studio, she tends to belt it at her live performances. Maybe she wants to sing louder than her band and she doesn't use the help of her back up singers and she sings her songs from start to finish which makes her voice tired. It's a great thing that she's aware that she needs other people to take her voice a break and not just carry the whole shows/performances with just by herself.

    She was always comfortable from C3-C5/C#5 in support and Resonance but her comfortable range put of support is B2-D5/E5. (E5 back then but not sure abt now) She definitely didn't lose the range but her voice lowered in timbre and because of smoking and poor technique (F5+) made it harder on her voice and this would have led to vocal damage. Her Voice is better than ever and she just hit a sustained F5 belt in mixed and she seems to be able to have confidence upthere again. One problem we still have and had for a long time is extra weight in her notes. She adds alot of weight to her notes which makes the weight drag the ease down, sort of like a balloon and a weight, it's harder for the balloon to go high with the weight but easier without it. She's been eating off on the weight on her upper notes but it's still there but less than the past. Her comfortable range normally stops/stopped at F5/E5 in belting then after that it was very pushed and squeezed, I love her G#5 belts even though technique wise they weren't very good. Great video! Ps. She's stopped smoking and is taking vocal lessons consistently like 2-3 times a week for the last year and She's currently working on a new album!

    I think she was actually "acting" in that singing, as Hannah, although masterful in performance was not as good in the singing, mayb because Hannah was an act and this was a bit of Miley Stewart doing a little sabotage of Hannah.

    @@moorhunhe Guess I'm also confabulating the HM movie that had her decide Hannah or Miley as the conflicting demands of the Hannah life vs Miley Stewart life was brought to a head. HM or MS, though I saw no conflict. Just let people know that this is Miley when NOT wearing the wig. Or as in comics, when Tont Stark is armored up, that person is Iron Man and when in suit & tie or tshirt and pants the person is Tony Stark or if the leader of the Fantastic Four is in spandex, ir's Mister Fantastic, in streets, it is Reed Richards. Or in another franchise, if the cowl is on, Batman, off, Bruce Wayne. The sabotage I was typing about is that in the series, it sometimes had Miley do something (cringeworthy) that jeopardised the "secret identity" thing and with a little thought just prior to that, it could have been avoided, so perhaps in the depths of the "id" there was a desire to be who she is, not the "superego's" abstractional disguise. I KNOW whatever was transpiring was the writers doing.

    @@moorhunhe I know, but wannabe storyteller here and on others' work I dig into the world they have built. Like if "Hannah" collaborated on a song with a real world performer who knows Billy Ray, then does the "fourth wall" break? Kind of like on NCIS LA with Deek's mom loving Jack Lord and the expression "5-O" meaning the police having already existed BEFORE the crossover with the "new" Hawai'i 5-O by being before that show had even been shot. Makes a counterdiction, as well as NCIS references to Magnum PI and that "new" one crossing over with new 5-O.

There are a ton of great videos on youtube of them performing live, but her rendition of their hit song "Anyhow" from the NPR tiny desk concert series is a really smoking one. There is a real wealth of videos to choose from, but I just happen to like that one because it was the video that first turned me on to Susan and Derek and their band. I would be happy to walk around advertising for you. Also, It wouldn't hurt your marketing to have a t-shirt design with your beautiful face lor maybe a caricature of you or possibly a minimalistic sultry drawing of you with your signature look of having your hair on one side, half covering your face, reminiscent of a Jessica Rabbit sort of thing. Maybe it could be a darkly lit photo or drawing with no color except the popping brilliance of your red hair and blue eyes. Just suggestions but I would definitely have to buy a few of those haha.

    would love 4 u to do this with angelina jordan. if u are interested could give u links to videos. she started singing at 18 months and has sang the same songs for over 10 years. great contrasts over time. such a great role model 4 protecting voice and lifestyle 4 young artists. recently one of the 2 stargate producers said that beyonce , sam smith and angelina jordan were among the few people in the world who can take a song from top to bottom in one take...love ur analysis and channel... kzread.info/dash/bejne/qqRqmc1yp86Yfdo.html

    I think she destroyed her voice from her vices and lack of training plus people doesn't recognize that her songs are super hard to sing when you actually sing it like her style of singing.

    just before this i had seen miley sing nothing else matters on howard sterns show with metallica. her voice[ probably within a week of your upload] sounds WAY way low,,shocking actually. dare i say, bad. i have not followed her career, so this was a real shock.her vocals were actually distracting from the performance.
