A little bit about me..
Rebecca is a passionate Singer-Songwriter/Vocal coach/mentor /impressionist/photographer/creative junkie /self- development lover not a hater.
“I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well, maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2016. However, despite not being able to walk for a few weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and try to practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…we are all specks of dust…Also, thank you for all your support. It means a lot. I have suffered from anxiety from the past and self-confidence, (yeah hard to see now right) didn’t think I was ‘good, or worthy enough’ but I feel I have a new lease of life, don’t really care as much and want to show you guys what I have! : ) You are all awesome and without you, there would be no channel.

I suspect that Marc is Genetically similar to Freddy in terms of skull and sinus structure, hence the similarity as well as tremendous talent. I got to see Queen live back in the 80s, those are some of my best memories and in some strange way I feel almost comforted to know that someone like Marc can keep Freddy's sound alive. ( well, as closely as anyone could. )

He’s amazing isn’t he? Makes me wish I was a tenor. Lol. Queen songs are so hard for me to sing. Freddie wrote very difficult melodies because he could do them. Marc is amazingly talented and uniquely suited for Freddie’s songs. He is a fantastic singer full stop.

jason martin respectfully, i don't believe marc is attempting to be freddie, nor better. he's simply giving a new generation the closest thing they can get to being able to see queen live, as well as drawing in new audiences to the joy that is queen/reinvigorating others passion for queen that they probably haven't revisited in a number of years. freddie was one of a kind. but that doesn't mean marc isn't impressive as all get out.

Marc is a great guy. Ive seen several times. Does great Christian music too. He is his own self as a talent and person. Different from FM but I remember hearing We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions for the first time in 77, blaring through speakers in dining hall at a church lock in (slumber party) for teens. We had never heard anything like it and we're mesmerized. Hearing Marc sing it gives me the same feeling from 40 yrs ago hearing it for the first time as a teen. There's a facial similarity and mannerisms that I think have been repeated in Marc's genetic make up. He's his own person but the similarities warm my heart.

0:47 - As Roger Taylor said, close your eyes and you think it's Freddie. There are a few videos, here on KZread, where folks do "mashups" of Freddie and Marc. Sometimes they even switch vocals in the middle of a line. If you don't look at the video to see who's singing at any given time, you really can't tell when they switch and you can't tell the difference. 6:00 - How DARE he? It looked as if Marc finished before you did. Then, "Well, that made me want more," actually made me "laugh ugly." Yes, I am not ashamed to admit it. I snorted. :)

obviously thrilled to see this pop up today, Rebecca! it's genuinely enjoyable to be able to geek out with someone else to this extent (via youtube, of all places), to the glory that is marc's ability. obviously i will suggest watching some live performances of marc performing with the tribute band, & also obviously would love a reaction video, (or just watch for yr own enjoyment). he's played most queen songs live at some point or another, so you can probably find just about any you'd like. i (shamelessly) have a playlist of his videos, can share if you'd like. also: keep an eye out on the ultimate queen celebration dot com for tour dates. i'm excited to say i will be seeing this amazingness (forget that's not a word) live in july 2019! i hope you get to as well, should you care to. it's likely the closest i will ever get to seeing "queen" live, & i'm looking forward to it greatly. last but certainly not least, read yr little bio bit for the first time today, & i would like to say that YOU ARE AMAZING! it's wonderful that you've overcome so much, both physically & mentally. i admire you immensely & wish you were closer, as i could see us being good friends. i hope you have a lovely day/evening, i think, for you. :)

Awww, you noticed everything!!! Thank you for this insightful reaction and analysis. Marc was interviewed and asked about sounding so much like Freddie. He said #1 was genetics as he was often told he sounded like Freddie when singing his original music in his touring band. Almost as a joke, he auditioned for Brian May and Roger Taylor. The second tip was to listen to Freddie speak and learn the accent. Marc had to adjust certain words to sing them like Freddie. And third, yet most important tip, you picked out right away. Freddie played around with the placement of his voice. Marc said it takes a while for many singers to be that flexible with shifting placement mid-note. Thank you so very much. 💜

Well there's no doubt in saying that they will never be another like Freddy he definitely was in a class Lane of his own I completely disagree that Freddy was just a baritone and the reason why being a queen fan and a follower for many years just goes without saying that Freddy had the incredible rare ability to shift any type of tone he wanted it's like driving a standard automobile that's exactly Freddy's voice he could shift it however he wanted and make it his own that should be no surprise to anyone who loves Queen let alone Freddy anyhow with that being said Mark does a fantastic job and is the only one in the world and I've heard lots of people come pretty close but no one and I mean no one has come close to the way Mark can sound incredibly close to Freddy's one-of-a-kind voice

From just listening to a little of your singing voice, and your obvious great knowledge of singing, I bet you're an amazing vocalist! Though I'm a drummer, I learn from your reactions.

Sonata Arctica - Draw Me, Live at Satama Open Air, Kemi. The singer of the band, Tony Kakko, is probably my favorite male vocalist of all time. His voice is just really smooth and soothing, yet he manages to make it sound powerful when he needs to. Sonata are (or used to be) mostly a power metal band, but they also have quite a few ballads, which tend to be melancholic. This song's one of those. Would appreciate this reaction a lot. ^^

This is a once in a lifetime to bring back someone who embodies Freddie and to do a tribute to Queen, Freddie and remind the newer generations of the music they made. i dont understand how he's not touring with Queen.

The next recommended video in my feed was Marc doing Under Pressure at Montreux. No offense to Adam Lambert but Marc should be touring with Queen. Great video as usual RVA.

Hey Rebecca, just wanted to say thanks for another nice video, got nothing to add to the bottomless supply of requests for you to react to other songs. I found your observations insightful and informative. Also, for some reason around 4:28 when you echoed Marc's "ah!" I found it very endearing. Have a great holidays coach!

You're so cool. And, if I may, besides you have your way with words and the looks, your tube might be so popular because you react so strongly, honestly and passionately to voice as you were in Howard Stern Sybian Machine Girls. Gotta love you!
