I know people may kill me for saying this, but what he is doing is even more impressive than what Freddie did. Marc is playing the piano while singing and doing it in one take. Just stunning.

Freddie couldn't have done it without the other Queen Musicians. If he wouldn't have met them he would have been a painter I think 🎨

I mean, he’s more consistent than Freddie in singing the show must go on, Freddie had a shot of vodka to get through the take, Mark can do it perfectly every time, according to a few studies I’ve been looking at about the two of them

It's Marc
He's got great voice great cover! 🍿
The movie "HIGHLANDER" is where that song comes from. A lesser known love that became a cult classic and sparked a TV series starring Adrian Paul and a couple of HORRID sequels . Anyway. The first movie is the best , and the song who wants to live forever is one of the greatest montage scenes reflecting on the main characters lonely , solitary life throughout the centuries. Freddies Vocals made this scene one of the most heartfelt and tearful scenes to me. Marc always does a phenomenal job, giving FM his respect, honor, tribute and respect.
Great reaction. Even though I will never be able to sing, its fantastic to hear someone who knows what they're talking about analyse Marc's amazing work . Subscribed.

Well done. You will gain a great following if you keep it going.
Another song I would not have heard if not here. A very nice song well done! I have heard you die twice. Once physically and another later when your name is last spoken. Perhaps due to this Freddie is still around...
You actually have to see Queen sing the song afterwards and you probably won't be able to tell the difference. Theme songs the movie Highlander 1986
This is NOT a singing impression. This is Marc’s natural honest-to-god tone. And he uses this same articulation regardless of what he sings. Love your musicality and your nuanced reaction! Subbed.

Good luck convincing those _acclaimed professionals_ that he's not just doing impressions. If only they could be bothered to play his non-Queen covers and originals and understand that this is his damn voice.

This kills me too. I actually had to stop watching for a while because I would get so upset. Simple way, watch him cover George Michael (Don't let the sun.) When he gets into it, HIS own natural voice comes through, which just happens to NATURALLY be what Freddie did as well (he certainly wouldn't throw some Freddie into a George Michael cover). It's as if people feel like nobody could actually have natural talent anymore. Songs have been covered since the beginning of music. Covering songs does not mean you don't have your own voice or techniques. He was chosen by Roger because he is an amazing NATURAL fit. Also the insistence that he's "highly trained" or spends hours looking in the mirror to mimic what Freddie did??? I think anyone who actually did that would fail. It either comes naturally or it does not come at all. My opinion of course, and well, you see I can't stay away....lol
Funny enough . Marc was told you sound like freddie, so much so, that he started listening to Queen after that, during his early younger days.

In his mid-20s
In a way I think he almost has more control of his voice than Freddie had, but it is of course hard to say from just hearing one take of probably several. The voices are much alike indeed, but there are some differences even though I can't quite put my finger on them.

Marc’s voice is more similar to Freddie’s voice from the 70’s. If you look back at Freddie’s vocal ranges, he changed his voice in the 80’s to be more macho and powerful (which was still fantastic). Just something we have to consider when discussing Freddie & Marc’s vocal similarities.

No question he has not abused his voice/body like Freddie did. I've seen Marc 2x, and going again this Dec in Miami-beyond talented vocally and musicianship. So much more content on KZread plus his own channel where he does varying covers that show his range
Watching you listen and watch Marc sing this you are enjoying this listen. Also your coments as his plays and sings, I wonder where as a teacher his singig talentts
React to his other queen songs especially the quarantine edition of under pressure
His jawline and teeth is very similar....its not an impression it's actually is voice... born with a voice very similar to Freddie.
This isn’t an impression that’s just Marc’s voice, he used to play in a band called down here and they people would say that he sounded just like Freddy so he auditioned for the queen extravaganza band
Hi Miki, that was excellent. Maybe you would like to do a reaction to The Mercurotti which is Marc Martel singing Nessun Dorma from the Opera Turandot as the great Luciano Pavarotti AND Freddie Mercury. It is absolutely astonishing how good he does this duet of a Concert Performance that sadly never took place in reality but gives us an idea what it would have been like if these 2 great men had performed together. May they both Rest in Peace.
His voice actually sounds like this It's not a impression, hes been singing In a band before and they thought he sounds like Freddie mercury.
I love the word "crescendoing".The"-endo" in "cresc-endo" is already "-ing". So for a latin language speaker is like repeating "-endo" two times: crescendoendo.
I love your voice and the details You talk about in your reactions. Can I pay for my second reactions through My patrons account?

Well first off he didn't study Freddie Mercury at all it was a friend of his that told him he sounded like Freddy Mercury he said really I wasn't aware of that at first he didn't believe his friend.
Your vids are fantastic. Could I please assist you in your search for more wonderful artists with beautiful voices?
Thank you so much for your reaction and your well thought out opinions. When you said the moment you are born, you are dying. That is my sentiment. What it means to me is from the day you are born you have so many years to make the most of your life. It is a gift . Don't sweat the small stuff. Ups and downs....it doesn't matter. You have to look at the big picture. Oh yeah I have been a Christian since I was 14. . I am now 68. Haven't and will not change my sentiments Take care and God Bless
marc isnt doing an impression he just sounds like freddi. Check out his original music even there you can hear Freddie
Please react to Gabriel Henrique stand up thanks

He is good in his interpretation but as I say you need to have Freddie’s unique personality and presence.

That’s what made Freddie Freddie, it’s a great imitation of Freddie though.
You really talk too much.
