I saw Dixie at the jingle ball in Atlanta. Like others I was surprised to see her on the lineup, especially with little experience singing on stage and shows of that size. Props to her for putting herself out there and putting on a show. I can't imagine what it's like to do that knowing that not everyone there is necessarily a fan. While I did go in with low expectations, I was actually surprised to see her do her thing. She wasn't one of the most vocally talented in the lineup but she put herself out there, was so nice to the crowd, and looked like she was having a good time. I do think with training, the right song, and right crowd/venue she can find her niche and thrive.

Their Hulu series shows that Dixie always wanted to be a singer. So she went for it as soon as she got the opportunity to. She's so young and so new to fame, I think either her parents or someone on her team shouldn't have let her release music until she spent more time with her coach. I was listening to this on the radio and… my gf and i were just appalled.. her breath control was awful, and you could tell she was extremely nervous. I feel like she could be good because there were small clips in there that was okay and sounded good, but the majority of it was just not it.

this performance was the worst one of breathing control, but if you saw the full performance it all happened from the second song she sang , where her top slipped and she got really nervous cause she probably thought something could have been out that shouldn’t be, and that messed up the rest

I actually think anyone can sing. It's a lot of muscles and learning good techniques... but I think Dixie didn't go through the stages of popularity that most singers do so she hasn't had time to mature and improve. She went from famous tiktoks to instant hit songs and it kinda shows. Interested to see where she goes
