Thanks! I know exactly what you mean. I am a professional singer and singing teacher myself, and never before have I experienced anything like this - since I discovered Dimash a few months ago, there has been a fulfillment on all levels... not only vocally, but also musically, and humanly... Yes, he is so good, so incredibly good that it almost hurts, you don't know where to put these feelings anymore! Yes, and the whole world should know him, and celebrate him, and experience his modesty and love, which he gives in all his concerts...Well, but the music "business" is different...and if someone (fortunately!) is not willing to give up some of his artistic and general freedom... then he won't be published...but - I'm sure this will come...every day the Dears fan base is getting bigger...the most important thing is to keep it the way he needs it in his environment - this special gift needs its own laws to keep his source pure. Because this is not a "singing technique" - it is a very deep opening that allows him to be a channel. So, we are happy to hear and see him... Best wishes from Germany!

Oh, Tara. Dimash would soooo appreciate you saying "this is the kind of music our kids should be listening to". In one of his videos (I think it was at the end of Sinful Passion), he mentioned something about the revival of and appreciation for beautiful music. I love that you can see the emotional investment and commitment he displays when he sings. One of the things I've noticed is that the more love and appreciation he elicits from the audience, the more energetic and dynamic his performance is. Someone mentioned that his voice kinda vibrates through your body even if you're just watching him onscreen. To answer your question of how he's not more popular, I can only speak from my own experience: Your heart needs to be open for his voice to have any impact on you. In the middle of what the world is dealing with and my own personal problems, Dimash is a beacon of love, light, and hope. Please stay safe and healthy. Much love from South Africa. PS. When your head recovers from having exploded, you should really do a reaction to Across Endless Dimensions ♥

In Kazakhstan it is customary for adults to always allow children to let their talents and gifts to shine, rather than adults “showing them up.” I would dearly love for him to tour in the USA, but sticking with Igor Krutoy and musicians of the same caliber, seems like a better fit. It is easy to focus entirely on Dimash's performance alone - which might be my new favorite. It is astounding. But I would like to give a nod to Igor Krutoy for creating a masterful and "Dimash" tailored orchestral piece that has me equally gobsmacked! It covers a width and breath that could be handled by few if any vocalists besides Dimash and the collaboration is obviously being much enjoyed by both given that they continue to work together so much. Bravo!

Months ago I watched on KZread Dimash’s first concert in NY, maybe from 2017, and during some song he kept holding the mic out repeatedly to a quiet arena, so he says, “Are you sleeping?!” Is he continuing to perform in large arenas in the U.S. or moderate venues since? I watch any Dimash video I could find, but I’m not aware where he performs.

@@III-zy5jf don't think that's an NY concert. He only had 1 solo concert in NY and it was an amazing one. The audience were outstanding too. They screamed, they sang together, etc. The concert you watched might be the London concert in 2018. The second floor was quiet, true, but that was because they were older viewers who chose to listen to his voice rather than screaming like teenagers. Or might be the Russian one... the Russians are more reserved in nature. This year he has a European tour that is sadly postponed in the middle because of the virus outbreak. He did 4 stadiums and 1 concert hall... all full houses (even the very big stadiums), even I was surprised. Nowadays his concerts are done in stadiums.

We love you too Tara! Your opinion is so valuable and we Dears all agree with you that Dimash should be heard more. However the music industry is more about making money than promoting good art. Dimash doesn't have an agent here in the US because he hasn't found anyone who is willing to promote him without limiting his creative freedom. There were producers interested in him but they all want to have control over what and how he can sing. Giving the fact that he is still so young and still improving his craft, chances are one day he will make it big here but it may take some time.

Dimash already fills huge stadiums in Kazakhstan and Russia, and tours the world. He clearly has a strong sense of belonging in his native cultural context. He visits poor children isolated by corona, plays with them while wearing a cozy wool sweater and standing with blue bags over his shoes to avoid spreading dirt on the floors. That impressed me the most really. What a great guy! His artistic ambitions are probably more nuanced than topping the charts. There is no reason to blame wider audience in the west for 'not getting it'. Neither Americans *nor* East Europeans/people in former USSR states are used to reading subtitles. People just prefer to hear their own language. Unless he chooses to really learn to communicate and create in English, he probably won't ever be a household name in the West. Does he even want to? We still get to watch Dimash perform and learn from experts' analysis why he's so d*** good. Besides, I get to show this "obscure guy from Kazakhstan" to my friends and look reaally cultured. I blow them away with 'Samaltau'. No complaints from me!

Can we take time to appreciate the composer and lyricist of this magnificent song? It’s just truly epic. It’s like I was transported to another world. Of course, Dimash’s interpretation was in itself, beyond belief. That last ascending note he hit was just divine. Bravo Dimash!

Completely agree that his gift needs to be better known and appreciated around the world. I'm also going to teach my son to appreciate talent!

One very experienced Professional vocal coach after reviewing this song said "This is the first time in my entire life that I've ever witnessed vocal perfection." Another said, "There are many great singers in the world who have different qualities, but Dimash is the only singer I've ever heard who has absolutely Everything." Many people say he's so good because he's been training since he was 5 years old. I somewhat disagree. While training has refined his technique, there are 4 things that I believe make him unique. No 1 a 6 + octive range. No 2 an incredible natural vocal flexibility. No 3 amazing tone, texture & vibrato. No 4 His ability to not just to "sing" a song, but to "Live" it. You cannot teach the above, they are natural gifts. Otherwise there would be 100's of people who could sing like Dimash, or say Frank Sinatra. As you rightly said Tara, he has been given so many amazing gifts it's a bit unfair on everyone else. The fact that he's also such a nice person is probably why he gets showered with flowers everywhere he goes. Keep safe Tara. 😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍

It's rumoured that Dimash teaches the Angel's in heaven how to sing. Loved your reaction to this song. This one's truly a masterpiece ah.

Don't you know that the entertainment industry (like any other complex) control the information in our medias? Dimash does not fit in their agenda, and is not the person who will submit his honor and dignity to their rules. He proved it in "World's Best", and the pill ihas still not been digested by all those sharks conrolling all medias... I really respect your honesty and clear mind.. and your reactions of course. As long as we let them dictate what kind of information, music and cinema included, we are fed with, they will continue to brainwash us. You can compare that situation with the food and Mc Donald to understand what I mean... Take care Sister!

For me he is a kind of ambassador for music and music genres far from RnB, EDM uniformity. And I agree with you. It hurts to see that he's not much better known already. But I hope that people will open up more to his kind of music. Your best comment today: He's a beast. Thanks Tara, I love your channel

I was from the school of "I refuse to let someone else's talent beat my hard work." then I heard Dimash...
