A song inspired by a Catholic prayer, composed by a Jewish man, sung by a Muslim man… and as close to vocal perfection as I have ever experienced. The word heavenly is often used as hyperbole, but not here. I have Dimash songs I love more than this for other reasons, but listening to Ave Maria is an emotional experience like no other. Thank you Dimash. Thank you Igor. And thank you Tara for a beautiful reaction to this performance of divine inspiration.

📌 8:33 - The last note Dimash sings is known as "Messa di Voce", the singing of a gradual crescendo and decrescendo on a long sustained note. It is considered one of the most difficult exercises for singers and voice experts regard it as a singer’s ultimate test, a skill even the most experienced rarely ever master ❗❗❗

“Ave Maria” by composer Igor Krutoy is a variation on the opening theme (not the introduction, but the singing part) of Schubert's melody adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore only the three opening notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note: Like a leap from "dark to light" which is the same contrast as Dimash's outfit (dark to light)! Wonderful! Also reminiscent of the "Ave Maria" version of Russian V. Vavilov (Caccine)

In art, something lives forever, something is forgotten. Hoaxes also happen - works live, and authorship is attributed to others. But no matter how unfavorable the circumstances may be for real talent, history will put everything in its place. The Soviet composer Vladimir Fedorovich Vavilov in 1971 recorded a disc entitled "Lute Music of the 16th-17th centuries." The disc became so popular that it was reprinted several times by the Melodiya company, but it was not easy to get it. There was also a certain riddle in the disc - in front of 'Ave Maria' there was no author's name. The composition divine in beauty was performed by the student of the Conservatory, the singer Nadezhda Vayner and the lute player Vladimir Vavilov. Serious controversy immediately broke out around the disc. Fans of lute music argued that the works cannot be related to lute music, since Ave Maria is a Catholic prayer named after the first words of greeting to the Virgin Mary by the Archangel Michael. In addition, there were only two words in the melody, followed by interpretation. The author himself was only silent. In 1975, when Vladimir Vavilov passed away, the record “Old Arias” by the soloist of the Mariinsky Theater Irina Bogacheva was released. Among other arias, she performed Ave Maria. Then a passage happened - the melody suddenly acquired the author - the 16th century composer Giulio Caccini. Years passed, and 'Ave Maria' from Vavilov's disc gained more and more popularity. In 1988, 'Ave Maria' in a new arrangement, accompanied by a chorus and organ, viewers heard the performance of the famous Irina Konstantinovna Arkhipova. In 1994 the singer of Latvian origin Inessa Galante included 'Ave Maria' in her album. The disc was released in Germany and was a great success. After that, the melody 'Ave Maria' by Vavilov found more and more recognition from all previously written works on this topic. She becomes an adornment of the concert repertoires of many famous performers in our country and abroad. Some of the prima donnas, having learned that the work was written by a Soviet author, did not want to part with the wonderful music and began to include it in their repertoire under the double authorship of Caccini-Vavilov. The story with the disc became even more mysterious after the release of the cult film 'Assa' by director Solovyov in 1987. In the film, the song 'Under the Blue Sky' performed by Boris Grebenshchikov became widely known. Many believed that Grebenshchikov himself was the author of the song, but music lovers easily recognized Francesco di Milano's "Canzona" from Vavilov's disc in it. But be that as it may, and justice must always celebrate its victory. The author of ALL melodies from the disc 'Lute Music of the 16th-17th centuries' was Vladimir Vavilov himself. The question arises, why did the composer abandon his outstanding works? Unfortunately, in those days, Vavilov had no chance to go through the then artistic councils in order to be recorded on the disc. He, a man who was not young and did not have a higher musical education, had only to record his creations under false names. But the main thing is that the composer, according to his contemporaries, belonged to those gifted people for whom the vital need was not the pursuit of a fee, but serving art. kzread.info/dash/bejne/no5k1Lx-d9Xbepc.html in the link a little about the compositions from the LP 'Lute Music of the 16th-17th centuries' 1971. Thank you all for your attention!

At the end you can see he's still in the emotion and is slower coming out of it than usual. This was something deeply felt by him, not an emotional "switch" flipped for the performance. This is the closest we'll hear on earth to what the angels in heaven sound like. If you don't believe in heaven, this is what you'll be missing. Interesting that we have a song based on a Christian classic written by a Russian Jew and sung by a Muslim. I think that is one reason there are no words - it is showing that through music, people of all faiths can share a religious experience that is deeply touching. I've told my kids that when I die, I want this video played at my funeral.

The first time I viewed this, from the moment I saw Dimash at the mic, moving slowly to the mic and bowing his head in reverence, closing his eyes, Divine spirit coming thru his body and face.....and then.....that first tone…….my eyes filled with tears......thru the entire piece.....and each time I've watched again…….Even the choir is applauding. The Universal Divine Over Soul must be weeping……..weeping tears of joy upon hearing this beautiful son, Dimash, sing......and thru your singing radiate a light out over the world bringing much needed... magnificent ethereal divine glory.....healing......comfort……radiance ……transcendence..…….. 🧚‍♂️ ❤️ I heard once that if you have to discuss, analyze, conceptualize, think about God, you do not KNOW God. That the Divine is pure energy, consciousness, loving awareness and vibration. Only when you no longer need to talk about, think about, put words around the idea of God does one KNOW God. Dimash KNOWS there is NO NEED FOR WORDS, DIMASH KNOWS the Divine. And yes, escape.....he sets my spirit free to soar for a little while above all the "noise" of the world.

Did you know, Tara, that Dimash’s surname means Given By God. His frequencies are restoring musical sounds to the heavenly standing that should not have been stolen and discarded by Hollywood. I love watching his destiny unfold, and his fame spreading throughout the world, for the result it was meant to achieve. Beautiful reaction, Thankyou. He is just where he needs to be for and in this critical time in history…..he used to go outside and pray into space for his future when he was a child. I believe he was born with a commission, and I have seen it in the Spirit. His grandparents and parents knew he was special when they named him…..and then Igor was sent to team up with him. The music of the future will be amazing.

Dimash sounds like a violin on this song. An instrument would be this clear and clean and would have the ability of sustaining the notes. At least in the high registers and vibratos.

Sorrry I should have pre warned you your allergies may kick in. Truly his music touches our souls and now is the perfect time for that to happen. People who have experienced life after death always talk about the bright light and the cool air the feel around them . It was recently described to me as GOD's breath. Keep up your spot on analysis of this amazing artist as I will always follow you and ask others to do likewise.

OH MY GOOD!!!!😥😥😥Dimash came as an angel in the form of a man to this earth, I no longer have any doubt about that, this earth is full of, selfishness, wars, sufferings, inequality, he came to give inner peace to all. If you look closely at a detail, when he greets the audience he is still full of that feeling that he put into his performance, because I imagine that singing something like that is emotionally strong.
