Definitely check out the Diva Dance in Bastau concert later on! Because in this one Dimash leaves notes out/ the high staccato notes instead of the famous slide just because the show producers didn't believe he could pull it off. Dimash proved them wrong in Bastau and actually added notes to it. Mid-way sung in a concert of 2 hours!

I really don’t like his upper belts at all. His tone there is very hard to listen too. Undoubtedly a world class vocalist though.

I am a big fan of bass and baritones vocals so hearing him go to second octave is real nice. he can get C2 and lower in fry as well. Super good for a tenor, he also has a very rich voice for a tenor in his mid to low range.

​@@jjchockey it's your subjective opinion, that normal but his head voice/ flageolet is otherworldly , he not only sings soprano top notes he sings with full resonance, like it's connected with chest ( physically it's impossible for a male ) probably he had unique physic/ larynx too. Like or not the fact that he has legit soprano tessitura is unbelievable

Finallyyyyy!!!! We've waited for this reaction for so long. If you're interested in other versions of Diva Dance that are even more impressive, please react to the Bastau version (it's even better trust me! The low notes are so clear and clean and a super fast run). There is also another performance where he hits a whistle instead. It's the Shanghai Spring Festival Gala version. They are both epic!

This video was early 2017.... He may have struggled with his lower tone back then for he was only 22....I wouldn't say struggle though,...but his lower voice NOW at age 28 is so much lower and so clean.

Tara, for Confessa he sang the first verse in Mandarin for the audience and then he sang the rest in the original Italian. You looked away when he took out his left in-ear right before the increased volume. He does that often although not every time! 👱‍♀👱‍♀👠👠👗👗💓💓😉😉

FYI: his super loud true-like whistle blower note is from his China concert back then, and his iconic “ rainbow” run down line is from his Bastau concert in 2017 of this song ! 😂

@@kevinnguyen5042 sorry🥱 the way you framed your post seemed like those parts you mentioned were taken from the concerts that happened later (in the future). That's what didn't make sense to me. I had earlier responded to a post under this same reaction saying the Bastau version was a lip sync which your post could also be interpreted as suggesting the same except you cited those parts from later concerts. Were you making the same lip sync claim and if so could you enlighten me on how that happens, bc to my mind lip sync is imitating or miming over a prerecording. I know of no official recording of dIva dance that he could've used to lip sync to. I just want proof that it's true and not just someone's best guess.

@@shrekswife2164 also, I don’t get it about why some people think he needs to lip sync at his concerts? The runs and riffs of what he did in that diva dance is too hard to tune already. Also, if you listen carefully , you can still hear his breath during the performace! He never does lip sync at his concerts. I watched many fancam, many angles from videos, he is just that great. His pitch and the stamina are insane!!! I really watched that whole Bastau concert and all I can tell is his voice is very stable and consistent. Some notes here and there of some songs are higher or under pitch due to his stage presence and the endurance of performaces, but come on, his 99% of the whole show was incredible , the tones the dancing the vocal control… is crazy!

But there's a Yuglioh Legend here who claims otherwise but gives no evidence to prove his integrity. I don't get such people who claim to be big fans of Dimash but won't hesitate to talk smack about him and think it's okay. It makes me wonder if he'd say the same to Dimash's face. The falling down at the end of the song is a homage to the movie "The 5th element", where the alien diva, who sung that song, died after an attack on the stage

Yes he struggles with some low notes here, but it's from 2017. Especially after 2019 he improve his low notes.

You wondered if he could hit the earlier low notes in the song which shocked me you said that because he has sung much much lower than in this performance since then. Again, you seem to not have noticed this performance was from FIVE YEARS AGO. Also if you want to hear him sing bass, check out Stranger (actually you have , so why are you surprised about his low notes here? I am confused) and also check out him singing the Kazakh national anthem in Las Vegas recently which he sang mostly in a beautiful bass (before switching to high tenor),

Well that was spectacular! I've been listening lately to a girl out of Russia (Diana Ankudinova) who has a VERY deep voice. She's still a teenager and can't match Dimash BUT nevertheless she is mind blowing for a young girl! She was on a singing show and performed Elvis song "Can't Help Falling in Love" She has a very STRONG voice to put it mildly and excellent vocal control. Her KZread channel has over 1 million subs!

This society I so untouched with their innerself that only look to "impressed" but shiny things, we became numb, we louder, bigger, more color, etc we don't really appreciate things for what they are but how shocked we can be at the lab. What he is doing is incredibly beautiful and needed. 🙏

I'm.... uh... I... How.... I remember as I kid when I was still able to hit the whistle note in "Loving you," trying to sing this song, I couldn't do it. He made it virtually effortless... (Falls to my knees in awe of his talent, as if I was Dr. Strange and he was The Ancient One). As a male who can sing, I am not worthy.
