Vitas version is meh

So, the man who sang that was Vitas. I am not a fan. He sounds like a dolphin. He got jealous and his manager informed Dimash that he could not sing it any longer because Dimash went up many more octaves than he ever could. What a child. Plus, he could never match the beautiful, powerful performances that Dimash has. Dimash is EVERYTHING. You should react to Stranger. next. Incredible. One of the things that I've learned to study with Dimash is how he uses his body to enhance and put more power into his notes. Plus, how he interacts while he's singing so that you cannot take your eyes off of him. One thing? Look for the extended video with English subtitles and what happens at the end with his father, who is the man who fist bumped at the end. It will give you a little perspective on how truly humble and special this wonderful man is and why we all so adore him. Thanks for your reaction to our wonderful musical magician!

He never talks about technique, but he did share one nugget in an interview. He said to stiffen and raise your soft palate, and send the sound to the resonators. That was the sum total of advice from Dimash 😅

The other singer you are referring to is Vytas. He only went up two octaves, whereas Dimash did four. Also, Vytas and his manager tried to sue Dimash and the show and restricted Dimash from ever performing that song a gain. Dimash also covered a song by Lara Fabian, Adaigio and she had no problem. It is also from this show. I also hope that you will react to Dimash singing Adaigio, All By Myself, and Unforgettable Day, all three from this show. I think you will find that they are not only remarkable but beautifully done as well. I do appreciate your comments along with your amazed reactions. They do have these songs with English subtitles. For sure for a teacher Dimash is a perfect example to show his students. Thank you for your interesting analysis and great reaction.

The Russian singer whose name is Vitas, does not go nearly as high as Dimash. He only goes up twice, where as Dimash goes up 4 times. Vitas has demanded that Dimash no longer sings his song! The mike move on that note, proves that Dimash is live and he does not use auto-tune. Several people has accused Dimash of lip-syncing or prerecording his music, thinking that no man could really sing that high.Dimash of course was singing live. Some people says he sings in falsetto but a coach in China has said that Dimash does not sing in falsetto, that that is Dimash’s natural voice. There have been times when he has had to pre-record his music for television in China and Russia. They made him do it, in case something goes wrong. Dimash does not like it! He has been trained to sing live! At his concerts he is live! Another thing Dimash does is he does not sing his songs the same way each time, in order to prove he is live! 😊❤️

I have listened to the original and found Vitas to be quite impressive. His voice is a bit sharp for my tastes but the biggest difference is the choice between steps up and Dimash choosing to slide up. I believe the slide up choice sounds like a more authentic "wind howling" sound therefore matching the lyrics better.🤔💐💐 Interesting reaction.🥰🇨🇦

The lady who tries to sing like Dimash at the end won this competition. Her name is Sandy Lam and she is very famous in China.

To hear Dimash's true whistle register, you have to watch Unforgettable Day at the Gakku music festival. I won't tell you which note he is hitting there, but it is HIGH. Figure it out yourself.

This was the last time Dimash sang "Opera 2." As they say, Vitas' lawyer sent Dimash's camp some sort of cease and desist love letter. I don't know if the organizers of the "I Am Singer" competition sought Vitas' permission before allowing Dimash to sing it. Anyway, I do understand Vitas' position. Maybe he learned that people were comparing him with Dimash and people's vote for the latter was overwhelming.

Vitas was the original singer and creator of this song. After this performance Vitas and his management said Dimash could not sing the song. This is I believe the only recorded version by Dimash.

For Heaven's sake, watch The GAKKUTV performance of Dimash singing, 'The Unforgettable Day' if you want to hear his Highest note - a D8 whistle note!

Please do a reaction to " " " "Ikanaide ", it's from the Jazz Festival in Japan. He sings it in Japanese. Dimash sang this song before on Chinese in 2017 in "I'm a singer". "Ikanaide" means Don't leave me. There are captions but a translation too.
