Actually, Dan identifies as a tenor. But he sings it all!

He rolled up Adele's version and smoked it. I love this version.

Just love this "metalized" version!❤❤ Love Dan's baritone voice. The little bit of accent I didn't even notice. This was done a few years ago and his English has come a long way since then. There aren't many people who sing in languages that aren't their mother tongue. Besides English, Dan sings in Italian, German, Spanish, Latin and Japanese.

Thank you for your reaction. I love all of it, but the baritone part is superb. I’ve seen Dan say that the lower notes are more difficult for him, but he makes it sound effortless. He does make it sound like the Adele songs were meant to be metal. ❤️‍🔥

G’day Ken, I love Dan to bits, in my eyes, and ears, he can do no wrong. When he goes deep it really hits, and when he goes high it hits just as hard, the chills are intense. It really shouldn’t be legal to be as good as he is…his voice has an almost orgasmic quality,,,it’s unreal 😅 I am curious though, would you put his voice in tenor-baritone or counter-tenor register? In all of the reactions I’ve watched, no one has really put his voice into a particular category. I guess it’s difficult to pigeon hole someone with such a varied repertoire as our Daniel. 🙃🐨🇦🇺

"Go The Distance" i like this video

I prefer this version to the original, and I loved Adeles version. Dan improves every song for mine. Thank you for your review, I defer to your musical knowledge. However, as a musical lover, I never hear Dan not doing everything he does perfectly. His voice is so very kind to my ears.

Hi Ken... we are just now getting snow here in NE Tennessee... We are definitely Fans of Dan... He started his channel about 13 years ago. Found him about 7 years ago. Hey Dan, I really appreciate your breakdowns of metal singers. I need to digest advice like this to help preserve my vocals. I seem to lose just a little range after a few hours of singing. It's not that I cannot get my voice back - I do. But it could take up to three days to feel totally back 100%. I always chalked it up to vocal conditioning - Singing often to make my voice stronger. Sort of like working out when your muscles hurt after a workout (is that even a thing for vocals? Should we be doing this?) Currently my full voice is reaching a high d-flat. When I was younger, I could reach a high d without issue. Problem is that it can take up to three days before I am back to normal after singing a couple hours in that high range. I know that cannot be right. I am hearing that my posture has a lot to do with it. This is his younger self. Very good, but he gets better. The energy and power in the main part of the song are what makes it very good. Also the video and sound are not as good as the newer songs. But, as Dan says, don’t wait for perfection, you wont get better that way. Only the experience from doing it and learning from, and fixing, your mistakes on the next one will lead to better work.
