the lyrics, the sound, the concepts, the visuals... this is her best album

It says " I let the Darkness out" Not "I like the darkness" I thought the same at first, i had to look up the lyrics haha.

To me I think that “Met Him Last Night” is a personification of addiction as the devil. Demi previously mentioned that Ariana heard “dancing with the devil” and was inspired to write ‘Met Him Last Night’ for her. And I love how the lyrics can be taken super literal like an actual man or something deeper like her constant battle with addiction.

I think Anyone was studio recorded. She actually wrote and recorded it just a couple of days before the OD in 2018. And she didn’t want to change it.

Is that there was a rumor that she was gonna put the live Grammy’s performance of anyone instead of the studio version but yeah she ended up using the studio version

@@nonchalantdewiness it wasn't even a rumor lol, Entertainment Weekly (a pretty legit source) literally said that in their article. It would be nice if the physical CD has the live version tho

Although I do think Madison Beer's "Life Support" album is also AOTY material (both albums are equally good, cannot choose one over the other), this really is an impressive album. Vocals on point, lyrics on point, productions on point. I love this album as well!

The reason "Met Him Last Night" feels like such an Ariana song is because Ariana wrote it for Demi. She wasn't even supposed to be on the song but Demi though it would be better if Ariana had vocals too.

Nina! Why don't you pay attention to Diana Ankudinova. Many vocal coaches spoke rave about Diana. Diana's vocals, she seems to be from another world, outside the world. It's as if everyone was doing triple jumps, and Diana would jump quadruples, and she would not be paid attention. You need to learn from the best examples, right?
