Her father had a very distinctive and special voice. Angelina has an equally distinctive style which, while it is nothing like that of her father, is completely unique. She has a unique style and very strong stage presence.

"La noia" in this context I think means more ennui, something in between boredom and depression. Not just straight up boredom but something a little more... existential, let's say! For such a young lady (22), Angelina seems so grounded and wise beyond her years!

@@scully8950 It can be found on RaiPlay, just search for "Sanremo" and then the quarta serata, but there too as well as on YT they have reduced the performance to one minute (but on the other hand they do 30 seconds of advertising at the beginning and at the end), the only is looking for reactions on YT where you can totally hear it. (However on RaiPlay by searching for "La rondine" and then selecting the video of "Bellamà" you can hear the whole thing, even if they speak)

Italian singer and voice teacher here. You are absolutely correct about how the way we pronounce vowels influences the way we sing, as we almost always naturally go for a brighter and more "open" tone. Our music culture has led us to prefer M1 over M2 because we generally want our voices to sound strong, powerful and (no surprise) a bit dramatic throughout the whole vocal range. Unfortunately, this also means that it's quite difficult for people who start singing to understand the concept of mixed voice. Which is incredibly helpful and effective if you want to sing high pitches in a safe way, with a consistent tone and without sounding "strangled." And yes, we also have to work hard on tongue position because it tends to create some excessive tension. 🎶🎤

@bdboui Unfortunately I don't know much about the Turkish language. However, it's important to understand that "mixed voice" is a way to describe a specific approach to singing, where the singer wisely mixes elements from different singing techniques in order to achieve a consistent and solid tone that still sounds smooth and effortless, especially in middle / high pitches. It can be achieved no matter the language you sing in. It's about tone and vocal sound quality. I hope this helps 😉

Her vocal folds are genetically designed! Her father was an incredible vocalist and used to sing in falsetto, mixed registers and do what I call "rollercoasters" with his voice. The typical Mediterranean melodic style. Her mom sang in a group known for their powerful feminine singers, her uncle was a musician too. She's been breathing music since the day she was conceived, no wonder she's so talented ❤❤❤

Angelina Mango is a young emerging Italian singer with great artistic talent passed down from her parents, both amazing singers. Father Pino Mango unfortunately passed away prematurely during a concert, he was not only a great singer and a great poet but a wonderful person with a unique voice. I advise you to see the video of the song "la Rondine" sung by her father and then the one sung by Angelina as a cover at the last Sanremo Festival and dedicated to her father himself, a Festival which Angelina then won with the song 'La noia'. Italian term noia means boredom, in this song it's used in a more existential way, she's not only bored but she seems in a tiring and quite depressing moment and to escape from it she does things.
