Qwerty- Live Super Sonic Tokyo 2006. The contrast in Chester's voice in this one are next level.

I recommend the song QWERTY live, you get a good grasp at Chester's vocal ability and skill.

My only thing I want to add too is Mike Shinoda really should be included as well - he adds so much and has a fanatic voice even though he mostly does the rapping parts in a lot of the songs for Linkin Park.

"one more light" makes me cry everytime i listen to, it should be the next one you check out.

It’s not easy to stay in tune when you’re practically going from regular volume to almost screaming your lyrics.

The fact that they sound this good live (I was at the last live show in Amsterdam) shows the skill,ability and that they don’t really use a lot of editing in the studio

Yeah, live they're incredible. When so many bands these days use so much digital alteration, they sound almost the same live.

Please listen to Heavy and one more light, I do believe that there is a live performance of one more light that was on the day of or if not a couple of days after Chester’s close friend committed suicide, you can hear the emotion and one more light is just a beautiful yet devastating song about loss!! Hope you do them two soon!! Love your reactions by the way, oh and you really need to watch another Al Murry as he plays a character “the pub landlord” he’s playing him as a VERY old fashioned Brit but Al has an Oxford University masters in History but character plays that stills sees English as the best country in the world but it’s all in fun because he rips into us as well, certain towns, cities etc lol 😂 love watching from the UK 🇬🇧

Is so sad Chester is gone, he was so good, a great talent and Mike aways a perfect match for Chester's vocals. RIP

If you're looking for Chester's vocals,. try the version of "The Little Things Give You Away" from Live At Milton Keynes. This song has too much going on to enjoy the vocals.

Hell yeah man this is easily top 3 favorite LP songs, I recommend “The Messenger” it’s an acoustic song and Chester sings beautifully!

I don't consider The Catalyst to be hopeless. I think the "no" in the lyrics indicate defiance in the seemingly hopeless, especially based on how it is sung. At least that's always how I have heard to, but it's great to hear how others interpret it. Thank you for the reaction, hope to see more Linkin Park reactions, especially from this album, A Thousand Suns.

Love your reactions. "Given up" is one of my favs from LP.

My favorite song by them is Shadow of the Day. It is one that isn't talked about as much anymore but I absolutely adore it.

Linkin Park - QWERTY live summer sonic Tokyo 2006. Definitely this. Their Live In Texas stuff are the best live quality stuff as that show has their best songs on it.

Just a little background. Linkin Park kinda met Eminem's roadblock where a lot of fans of "the old linkin park" hated this CD, A Thousand Suns, because they claimed they were too different. This was one of my favorite CD's by them because it hit a new era of how they wanted to be portrayed. Which they never wanted to just be viewed as just that rock-rap group.

30 seconds to mars is a good match for sound to this particular LP song. "The Kill" comes to mind.

This was awesome in Medal of Honour. Awesome track and awesome game

One more Light is a must listen. Especially if you agree that Chester is just a goosebumps inducing singer.

For me, it's not hopelessness but a cry of yearning from a place of brokenness but hope in or for the only One who can truly rescue us. I really love this song. Would love you to check out One More Light.

This song is the lead single from their absolutely magnificent album, A Thousand Suns, which has a loose theme of nuclear war. So, hopelessness is pretty spot-on.

You should check out “Given Up” from Linkin Park”

The album and single version are longer and feel more cohesive, though I understand why they had to cut the song shorter for this live performance.

So I highly recommend you dig into this album on your own time. It's absolutely incredible-it's all about nuclear war, Civil Rights etc. Everytime I finish album I'm almost always in tears. It's such a richly human experience and it needs to heard by EVERYONE.

Highly recommend their performance of One More Light that they did on Jimmy Kimmel live. It had only been a few days since Chester's close friend Chris Cornell had passed on and you can hear the pain in his voice while he sings.

The album is an experience as a whole, track 1 through 15. Linkin Park only concept album, of yes as you were on the trail of, world ending, people creating bombs to end said world. As far as next recommendations….Blackout (From A Thousand Suns-2010) Live Telekom Street Gig 2012 & If you so choose Papercut (Hybrid Theory 2000) from the same show, although they have their own solo songs, these are 2 contrasting songs on how the dynamic duo interacted and feed off each other.

First time viewer, couple things - I couldn't really see the video/who was who & while you complemented Chester Bennington, I wouldn't call it an analysis. I like your chair.

I love this song! Sadly this shortened version skips the Synth solo, which for me it's a perfect bridge between the vibes from the start of the song, to the slow paced piano section almost at the end... still, the performance stills amazing!

The Catalyst is one of my least favorite songs by them. It feels so extremely repetetive and boring. And I say this with LP as my favorite band of all time. Nothing else even comes close.
