I am so sorry for your loss, Cornell and Chester were bad enough I admit mainly Chester for me but heart broken to anyone who feels their only escape from suffering is suicide I can’t even imagine that pain and suffering. Their music will live on as will and sure the memories of your mother and again sorry for your loss x

When my mom passed this song was playing when she took her last breath. I cared for her on hospice and held her hand as she left this world. This song is so amazing. When I returned to the room Leave Out All the Rest was playing. Which is the song that reminds me of my brother that passed. Music is so healing.

There is a group of therapists in CA that have developed and are using a program based upon Linkin Park songs/music, to help depression sufferers convey their feelings both to Dr's and to loved ones. It's incredibly successful. Chester had a rough childhood, and wrote about his mental health struggles amany in myriad songs in the LP pathos. He had immense talent, success and a beautiful family...and never believed he deserved any of it. My heart swells with love for Chester and everyone out there feeling alittle less-than. You are special, beautiful, and people care! Thanks for the reaction, and shining a light!

Chester Bennington was such an underrated vocalist. His range was huge, he could hit notes as well as any other artist, and could switch between vocals like this to one of the most prolific screamers of our time. Like when you hear him in Given Up, doing a 16 second scream live, and continuing without missing a beat. The man was just pure talent. And on top of that, everyone who knew him says he was one of the coolest, gentle, and caring people you've ever met just makes it even more hard to know that we lost him.

This song and "proud corazón" from the movie Coco will crush me everytime. LP was my late wife's favourite band and this was her favourite song, and with "proud corazón" Coco such a beautiful movie based around Mexico's day of the dead festival, it was the first movie I ever saw with her after meeting her and just started dating not long after my mom passed, she held me in her arms as I cried thinking of my mom during the movie and said she wanted to honor her and remember her on Día de Muertos on her ofrenda. She broke me then and there, she was so sweet, so loving. She passed away from cancer last year, and wanted to watch Coco together as it was the movie that brought us closer together. We hugged and held each other and kissed. She passed away in my arms that day. I played "proud corazón" and sang it to her in spanish as I played it on guitar when I proposed to her. That song means the world to me. She will always be my "proud corazón" my proud heart translated

I loved this song when it came out. At the time, I felt sympathy for whom the song was originally written about. When Chester passed away, it hit me really hard, as it did everyone else. Every time thereafter, all I could think about was Chester and his mental health struggles, which is something I myself deal with every day. My father passed away too soon in late January of this year after getting sick, and now this song has yet another connection. It is truly a beautiful song, though now it is even harder to listen to. There are a couple songs (other bands) that I almost refuse to listen to because it reminds me of someone else's death, but there is something about Chester's voice and the general beauty of Linkin Park's music that allows me to revisit a song like this. Their music has been a major part of my life since my late teens, and has been there through all my struggles. Linkin Park will forever hold a special place in my heart.

This song in specific has been soothing in the last few weeks. Dealin with covid, depression, and mourning someone who is still living. Turned to alcohol and did/nearly did things i regret. Still breathing but idk if i need to be anymore. Shit got rough and really no one cared. No one really knew and the few that did, did nothing. Hearing Chester say he does tho, he doesnt know me, i never knew him. Its nice to hear someone say they do

This song was actually a tribute for the lead singer of audioslave, Chris Cornell. They were best friends and when Chris committed suicide it actually was so hard for Chester to accept that he himself couldn’t bear it and committed suicide. I had a super rough childhood and have a hard time remembering it but Linkin Park and my first time hearing Chester’s voice will forever be engraved in my mind. He saved my life, I wish I could’ve done the same. He was an absolute light, one that burned out too soon.

Had to be so difficult for him to sing, knowing now, that he died shortly after this song released. Just before the concert tour was to start...I have my unused ticket. Hold it to my heart and think about the sadness. Crying💔

This song always makes me sad. RIP Chester. Very influential to me as a musician growing up. I still remember jamming to hybrid theory in my bedroom at like 13 and thinking I was on top of the world.
