I suffer from anxiety, and quiet is so underrated, I find it so therapeutic to have no tv , and just potter or knit/ sew, I think the times we are living in are so rush, rush and everything has to be done yesterday. It’s no good for your wellbeing. Hope you are feeling less overwhelmed now ❤x

I am at home with a heavy cold, yesterday and today, and l have realised that your vlogs and the Knitting Man podcasts both have the background noises and appearances of small children and that makes them feel like video calls with a friend. Much more personal and 'ordinary life' and friendly. Thank you!

Yes! Minis for socks! I would use two for the “main color” (stripe or helically knit) and then use a third for the heels, toes, cuffs. If you have grey and/or blue’s that would he pretty with the peach for the accents!

My son has just been diagnosed as autistic at age 35 so I feel your pain you are doing the exact right thing by slowing down and listening to yourself , you are very fortunate to have people that understand around you , I have a great relationship with my son and I am able to calm him when he gets overwhelmed it’s so important to have people who “get” you and how you feel , anyway keep being you and doing what’s right for your situation, Jackie x

I’m sorry you had such a hard weekend. But so glad you were able to slow down and enjoy your day and start your gorgeous socks! I had the same issue with my socks and was knitting them on the same needles. Especially when I was using cascade 220. They came out huge. I just started knitting a size small even though I’m a size 10 (EU 41) in women’s. I can’t wait to see how your will come out!! ❤❤😊

I use arround 60-65g fingering for mid calf socks size 37/38. I think you can do toe up shorties! Or maybe cute slippers!

Hi Laura, my son is autistic too (Asperger) so I recognize a lot of what you are talking about in your podcasts. Very brave of you to talk about this so open. I have a question: do you have a 'recipe' for the Penny Gloves in DK? And what needle did you use? I have the pattern for the normal penny gloves and have knitted it before but would really like to make the DK ones. Thank you in advance.
