I can't believe it's 181 weeks! What a journey 💞💖

Wondering how many other people get their SAD symptoms in the summer like me? I get real cozy in the winter (I live in Canada - lots of snow - it’s for survival lol) and then in the spring everything is coming back to life but it’s still slushy and gloomy and then all of a sudden the light outside is so bright and intrusive and I hate being hot so much, so I stay inside and then I feel guilt and FOMO for not being out enjoying the summer weather like everyone else is. Makes me feel so sluggish and bad. All this to say, Jamie, try incorporating vitamin d supplements into your daily routine if you haven’t already.

I know exactly what you mean! As soon as the spring comes and it gets brighter I get really bad anxiety and weird feelings of guilt for wanting to stay inside. I’m so glad someone else knows the feeling!

I struggle with summer in Canada too! I have chronic illnesses and disability that causes a lot of suffering in the heat. While I love the sun, longer days and all the green plants growing, its when I struggle. Winter is my cozy time - less chronic migraines. I love taking walks all bundled up with my dog (her fave time of year too). I do take Vit D all year round, take warm baths in the winter, etc to help.

Only started watching these vlogs a few weeks ago...now I’m obsessed ❤️caught up with 180! and have went from watching umpteen vlogs a day to waiting on one on sundays like everybody else 😩 where you guys been all my life, I’ve been under a rock man 🙈

I suffer from S.A.D and I'm finding it really hard atm, I'm not sleeping at night so I'm sleeping through the day which means I don't see any daylight, I'm in a rut and i cant seem to get out of it and its making my depression worse. Its sucks. I get like this every year. Ive been giving a light to help me so fingers crossed that helps x

I have never seen anyone with such absolute perfect features!! With make up or without you are stunning!! Such amazing energy as well- thank you for your transparency and sharing how you cope!

I used to struggle with insomnia really bad (wouldn't sleep for 3 days) which in turn made my depression worse. What has helped me (if I'm not working) is being as active as possible during the day whether that's exercise, cleaning or doing brain exercises. Then in the evening I make sure my space is clean and I properly wind down with a cup of tea and switch off from work.

You and jack bringing eachother food is one of my favorite things about you guys relationship! I dont know about ya'll but food is my ultimate love language😂❤️❤️❤️

JAMIE! there’s a light called the HappyLight that I have used for years to help with my SAD. It’s a full spectrum light that mimics sunlight without the scary UV rays. I highly recommend it!!!

I got an SAD lamp at the start of lockdown and I can't tell of there's a difference but I still have to go to work in the mornings which is probably a positive thing in itself.

So relieved that I'm not the only one who feels this way!! 😂 I'm a new subscriber and I've been bingeing on your videos so thank you for that!! You definitely helped me out with the boredom 😉

I'm a bit late to this video, but re: the SAD lamp, I've been advised to use it in the AM when you first wake up so it doesn't mess up your circadian rhythm. I was using it for a while in the evenings and it quite messed up my sleep patterns. I hope it helps you!

My husband LOVES the rain and complains about the endless sun where we live in San Diego. He's an anomaly...maybe it's because he's such a ray of sunshine inside. The short hair looks sooo good on you, lady! I'm tempted to chop mine...but I'm still living the brightly colored hair life right now so I'll wait until I go back to brown!

As silly as this sounds - I love how honest you are about your sleep patterns. I feel so guilty for not being an early-bird like everyone I see online! I love the realness here. I always feel like I'm the only one who can never get out of bed, always a night owl. I hope the lamp works!

The happy lamp is a great purchase! I do my first 30-45 minutes of work in the morning sitting under mine. It takes a b it to notice the improvements, but th eye come!

Not really a fan of ghd since trying cloud 9! Definitely find cloud 9 better, especially that you can control the heat on the irons! Love the Vieve products btw! Just finished playing with them for the first time!!! Oh and you can get the massage gun from around £40 on Amazon, and they're amazing for leg and foot tightness and pain too!

I HATE winter, the cold, the rain, gloomy weather with a passion! I always attributed it to growing up in Phoenix, AZ and the heat so I’m not use to the cold weather in California but maybe it is what you’re talking about. Everyone assumes California is always sunny and warm but it’s not, at all! Last night it was 33 f 🥶 I live in the Central Valley area

Haha I love that you are into salmon-cream cheese-bagels these days (I've had so much of these in the last 2 weeks). And it's somehow healthy. Try a bagel with cream cheese and just tomatoes or just cucumber and salt/pepper or an avocado. Ohhhh try avocado as guacamole with salmon. It's also really good.
