i also think it’s what you make it. to me, with social media it’s never about keeping up and i’ve never felt the need to. if you feel social media is all about “keeping up with the next trend” than that means you feel the need to keep up with it. it starts with yourself. i mean this with no disrespect. this is just my take on it.

yeah that is so so true. but i think it’s important to remember that in her shoes, she feels like she probably has to “keep up” since she thinks that what people would prefer.

so happy that you share how you're feeling and whatever is on your mind in each vlog 💕 sometimes I find myself reminiscing about the past, especially the summer of 2019 too, so its just nice to know someone else shares the same thoughts sometimes! love yous!

I think youd benefit from a break from tik tok Mags , I 100% agree with you and the best thing I ever did was take a month away from socials specifically tik tok bc it’s SO overwhelming and I think as a whole we need to get back to who we all really are. Always sending love 💕

Aw I think that’s so sweet how you mentioned the full moon. I find the moon to be so romantic and when it glows over you at night, it feels so peaceful. Certainly a very nostalgic feeling can come especially when I remember all the times in the car I’d stare at the moon at think it was “following” us haha. Life was a lot simpler I agree. But I think we can all begin to find those pockets of simplicity more and more in life. I think one way we all can combat the overwhelming feeling of overconsumption and the need to get new things is by creating more. Listening more, serving each other more and working towards feeling complete as we are.

I STILL make that overnight oat recipe you shared a few months back. So delicious! It was my first time ever making them. I literally ran and made two jars while watching your video now - haven’t had it in a few weeks. ❤ such a easy breakfast!

In order for 'things to slowly go back to the way they used to' it starts from within... It starts with one person at a time. Also, you will never change the world, don't hope for things to go back to how they used to be. Only focus on what you can control, which is yourself. For example, setting a screen time limit on TikTok where you aren't consuming so much content of the newest fads so you can have a less influenced day where you are focusing on what YOU have rather than focusing on what someone else has or what someone else has to say. "Be the change you want to see in the world." ;)

Sometimes I am scrolling because I’m genuinely interested in learning or watching funny stuff but sometimes I catch myself stuck on someone’s tok and it’s hurting my self confidence so I notice I’m not there for entertained at that point and I get off right when I become conscious when my purpose online has changed.

YES! I feel the same way about tik tok:/ I feel like it made me buy so many unnecessary things just bc I wouldn’t want to have fomo so finally I had to delete it and I haven’t looked back. Kind of refreshing to not even know what trends I’m missing out on anymore

omg you’re not alone with car problems!! i got a new car in 2019 and a freaking tree landed on my car and shattered my windshield and crushed the top part of the passenger side, then i was parking and someone bumped me from the back AND then i was hit from the side in a parking garage and it took some paint off. i just got a new car in November and it was hit while parked 🙃 i just got it back 3 days ago after a month of no car.

Hello! I have a cool idea for a cooking challenge! There is a popular game "blind, deaf, mute" on KZread and tiktok. The essence of the game is that three participants are taken, of which one cannot see (he is blindfolded), the second cannot hear (ear plugs and headphones are put on him), and the third cannot speak (usually his mouth is taped), and that’s it.
