@@HaydeeSophiahi! I have fairly severe rosacea…. Dr. Jart products always help soothe my skin. They have a line specific to combatting rosacea. My dermatologist also has told me that the laser treatments usually work best on people with moderate to severe rosacea for whatever reason. He explained it better but it had something to do with the laser having “more” to attach to… I definitely think you can’t go wrong with the Dr. Jart Cicapair line. I should get paid by them for as much as I recommend them 😂

I hope this comes across in the positive way I mean it, but thank you for including a clip of a not-so-great moment. I certainly don't want you or anyone to have a bad day but it's an inevitable part of life. Seeing that is a healthy reminder that the perfection social media usually presents isn't attainable 24/7. Sometimes we need a glimpse of reality to straighten out our perspective.

I live in Raleigh and definitely think it’s worth checking out!!! It has all the perks of a big city but also some great outdoorsy areas and spots with a small-town feel. There are also some cities within 30 mins that offer a lot too (Cary, Durham, Chapel Hill). And there are tons of good restaurants. I can’t personally speak to the dating scene, but there are A LOT of young adults in the area and tons of events/social spots to meet people.

We LOVED it, it’s a smaller city so not a lot of hustle and bustle but definitely still lively and TONS to do. So many young professionals due to the research triangle being nearby. Loved the Barbie movie! I’m 44 and I feel like the 80s(when I played with Barbie) was such a good era for Barbie. They recreated so many looks from all eras, it was so nostalgic for me. I also used to play with my aunt’s Barbies from the 60s when I visited my grandparents as a child. As well, I’m a big history nerd so I know a lot about the history of Barbie and the cultural and social significance that the dolls have. The movie definitely touches on this without overdoing it. Can’t wait to see what you think about it! ❤

Okay I am a person who is very critical about movies, and the Barbie movie was way different than I thought it would be, and I thought the messages were powerful and they were very controversial which is interesting because I feel like most movies are afraid to make waves now a days. America Ferrera was amazing, I loved her character. I was nervous, and don’t get me wrong it’s not the best movie ever, but it’s something every woman in this country needs to see and will likely resonate with.

O M G! I am literally here in Raleigh for the first time. We've traveled all summer (nomad summer) searching for the city we want to live in. I hated it at first, but it has grown on me so much so that we may move here! I told my husband all about how you explained bigger cities and how going downtown first can be a mistake. That's what we've learned here!❤❤❤ We are deciding between here or SLC. This place is so gorgeous with all the tall and plush green trees. The heat is tolerable, but I also just lived in Austin for 5 years. I'm from Alaska so I feel like this is the happy medium for 4 seasons, but not the extreme winters like Alaska. ❤😊 Also, diversity is important to me and this is the most diverse city I've seen in NC. I'm sure dating here would be easy!

1st: Parker is adorable. 2nd: I hope you have success at the Mayo Clinic and that the wait isn’t much longer. As someone who has experienced chronic pain also, it’s just hard to see anyone else going through their own battle with pain and uncertainty about what they can expect from their bodies from day to day.

Hi! I don’t know if you’ll read this, but I’m a curly and have a few tips for your styling! Usually, when diffusing, we will hover diffuse (diffuse from a distance) first and then scrunch at the end when the hair is almost dry. This prevents a TON of frizz, and allows for juicier, more defined curl clumps and waves. I know you have neck problems, so when I hover diffuse, I tie my blow dryer to a chair and sit under it like it’s a hooded blow dryer so I don’t have to hold it. Not to be a shameless plug, but I have a diffuser hack video showing how I do it if you can’t imagine it, and I think it would be especially beneficial for you because of your pain. Lastly, clips at the root are good for volume, but also gently moving the head from side to side and front to back while you’re drying can help. I feel like I have more tips, but this is already long 😂 But I love seeing you experiment with your waves!

The Barbie moving was great. It was funny, cute, but also agree with the claims of thinking about some of the messages over and over after seeing it. I also feel that it has caused me to look inward and realize that a lot of my own self esteem came from the ideas of what a woman should be. I recently became a mother and felt all the feels even more so.

I watched the Barbie movie the weekend it came out. I’m almost 60 and I took a male friend with me who is in his 70s. I grew up with Barbies and he had no experience with Barbies as a straight male growing up in a traditional household. We both enjoyed the movie very much! Recommend it! For one, I think it’s important to support, female, directors, and female, lead movies. If we want to see women have more power in an industry like Hollywood, we need to support women creators . Two, the movie is not a children’s movie although there’s nothing that would be scary or inappropriate from my recollection. Hope that you enjoy it!

I feel like if you don’t like the Barbie movie, you’re either anti-woman or you’re not smart enough to understand the movie (and no shade. There are plenty of movies I didn’t understand.) The amount of “Easter eggs” and references are like 4d chess level smart. Like Taylor Swift numerology stuff. I loved it. My 9 year old loved it. I’m dying to see it again to pick up on even more.

I lived in Raleigh for years. A good chunk of it was during the pandemic but that forced me to explore. I found so many great nature trails. Where you live in Raleigh is very important. In my opinion it is very easy to avoid the traffic once you know the city. Raleigh has some of the best places to eat. It is not a huge city if comparing to other major cities but it has enough to do and easy to meet people. It is also great for job opportunities and it's growing. They have great apartments but houses are very expensive but I guess its just finding the right location. Since your family is in NC you may have tried it but I suggest getting some good bbq on your trip. On a side note, Raleigh is just somewhat in the middle so you aren't too far from anything. Beach or mountains. I love NC. I moved to the beach but I do often miss Raleigh.

I lived in Baltimore for a few years before moving to Raleigh. I stayed in Raleigh for a couple of years before moving again (for job/family reasons) during COVID. It’s definitely a growing city, but I feel like more people are transplanting there than the city can hold- it’s feels like the seams are busting lol. Definitely different than a typical city where it’s crowded but not cramped. And the food scene is better than most places in NC, but I wouldn’t say it matches other major cities. It’s the best in NC out of necessity but not by choice, if that makes sense. As a fellow single 30+ year old female, dating was hard in Raleigh. Since it is close to a lot of large universities (NC State, UNC Chapel Hill, Duke, etc), it still felt too much like a college scene for me. Or the people who are our age already have their established friends/family and are dating within those circles (in my opinion). But if I wasn’t trying to date in Raleigh, then the only other options were nearby cities like Cary. Cary is beautiful and has a lot of food options, but it’s definitely geared towards families compared to Raleigh. If you’re going to check out Raleigh, you’re going to want to be in North Raleigh. Hope this helps! I’ve been following your channel since pre-accutane days! I love your channel ❤😊

Raleigh can have some hidden gem spots for sure and it also has a lot of cool towns within a thirty mile radius. The dating isn’t bad since there is a pretty wide age range there.. It is a big college town though. But it’s convenient since the airport is easy and there is also the Amtrak. You might as well check it out if you’re in Charlotte and are considering being closer to your fam. The train station is in downtown and obviously has homeless people around and just like anywhere else, drugs, so keep that in mind if you take the train, but Morgan street and Glenwood are fun!

The Barbie movie is something you need to experience in a theatre. There is a feeling, an energy that I’ve never experienced at a movie before. And I worked at a theatre during twilight and Harry Potter releases, but this was entirely different. If you’re able to go with your Mum, I’d highly recommend. Also, as a smart, independent woman, I think you’ll relate to a lot of it.

There are tons of things to do outdoors, good nightlife, and yes, RDU is a very good airport. Easy to get to, easy to get around, never had anything but good experiences there.
