When I first moved to Houston I was here for 3 weeks at a time. I mastered a capsule wardrobe. So even now with all my clothes. I pull capsules for the week and end up remixing the same items for 2-3 weeks. It makes you even more innovative and trying things in new ways. Please continue these... with try ons next time.

Fellow girl who loves color, texture, shape and drama. Capsules are great for us too . I don't at all subscribe to the strict rule of 30ish pieces. But the principle of buying only pieces that go with each other is super useful. I never feel like I have nothing to wear. Quite the opposite, I'm amazed at the infinite outfits I can put together with so much less clothing. Pro tip if you have issues staying focused: pick one colorful statement piece as your anchor and make sure everything else goes with that.

As a person with colorful maximalist tendencies, I use seasonal color analysis as a constraint. So I wear the whole rainbow, but not every shade, because I limit it to cooler, brighter, or darker version of a color. So green = teal, not olive, lime or apple. All of my clothes can be worn with my neutral, navy.

The capsules are what helped me experiment with color. I usually pick an aesthetic/theme/color/"core" for each one, i.e. Leather/Military/Midi skirts. This week's color was (well weeks' as I am into the 2nd week with the same items) was money green. I pulled in neutrals black, white and navy to build around that color story.

Love this. I've been using whering recently to come up with new ways to wear my current clothes. It's been super helpful to help find the "missing pieces" in my wardrobe and only thrift those, instead of buying a bunch of cute stuff I don't need 😅

Love capsule content!!! We’re in tight quarters over here. My partner and I share a 3 foot rail and a dresser. I make a capsule for 3 mo from my large wardrobe I keep in storage. I loooove the process. And yes the visual guide/polyvore thing was a game changer for me. I watched Daria on her channel wonder wardrobe when I didn’t know where to start. I can’t recommend her and her content enough if you’re interested in capsule creation
