Had a really stressful day today. I was busy having a lovely morning decorating our Christmas tree and then got some news that I was really hoping wasn't going to happen, but has, and now it's just made me so incredibly anxious and worried. But I am just so thankful that I get to watch this, it's perfect to just take my mind of things and watch your positivity and adventures. Thank you for being the last thing I will watch before I go to sleep, to help me decompress and think happy thoughts. xx

For breakfast while traveling. One of the things we started to do was buying oatmeal packs and a little bit of fruit. Easy, fast, filling, cheap and easy to pack. It cuts down the amount we have to eat out and also makes the morning more chill and less likely to get Hungry.

I've been over that bridge in Louisiana literally 100 times at least. Always saw something I hadn't seen before. Also the rest areas ...the one going in to Louisiana used to have a boardwalk behind that you could walk. It would take you partway around the water back there. Don't know if it's still open. I used to feed a gator chicken every time I'd stop.The one coming out of Louisiana going into Texas also had a boardwalk trail. That one was really nice. I haven't been through there in years so don't know if they are still open. Don't know if the hurricanes in the last few years have made a difference in anything there.

Great glimpse of New Orleans! I used to live in Baton Rouge, but work, family living there, and great entertainment took me to New Orleans quite frequently. Last time, though, was a couple years after Katrina (Yes, Hurricane Katrina is a timeline). I must say things look a lot better than when I last saw it. I had not wanted to return and relive any of those sad memories, but after watching your vlog, I am longing to return. A trip there would be very affordable if we could book the place you had. Your pimple looks more like a cold sore just starting. (If so, the sooner you treat it, the sooner it fades. If you have never had one, it makes itself known by tingling (or burning) before you can even see it.)

You can get those chips at Target-they are vegan as well and quite good.
