The problem is vital Ukrainian fortifications can't be made in America, and since "military aid" amounts to shedding old equipment and giving a stimulous to the American military industrial complex, there's no profit incentive to make essential fortifications. So even though they knew this was coming they lacked the resources to make a defensive belt like the one Russia constructed to repel the counter offensive. But now this spokesperson speaks of counter attacking the positions they have just fled after months of inadequate preperation? Why spin a false narrative that will double the defeat, first on the battlefield and then in disappointment. I hope they won't seriously attempt a counter attack because that would be even more disastrous than their last attempt.
