    I agree. Been watching MLB since 1973 and I think Vlad Jr may be the best pure all-around hitter I've seen - definitely for a righty. He may already be better than Manny Ramirez and Miguel Cabrera at their peaks. And Vlad Jr is only 22. I imagine what he'd be like in 3~5 years! That was a beautiful HR for sure. His swing has the perfect balance of finesse and raw power.

    Bonds' record doesn't count. It's Aaron's 755 that's legit. In any case, probably very difficult for Vlad Jr to get to that point but he probably has the best shot of anyone alive right now since he's only 22.

    hard to say how he will age vlad Sr was out of the league at like 36 he's a 1b/dh which may help his body age better but who knows for sure. he didn't hit many home runs until this year either but he's only 22. there's a shot but it could be a long one.
