The trick of interviewing Vivienne is to let her speak uninterrupted …not watching the clock…the flow is not there…pressure of the purpose Her mind has so many aspects to what makes her brilliant….an amazing advocate for life people and awareness of what is wrong with the planet..a unique beautiful woman who gave of herself to so many…we were so lucky to have experienced her in the way she truly was..❤

Vivienne -- spectacular. Interviewer -- not on the same level, unskillful. Westwood has deeply thought through observations about the world and culture. You don't rush a fascinating sage. You don't try to shoehorn Vivienne Westwood into your show format. But still instructive and delightful to hear her. Fun idea to do it on the Eye. Not bright to trim the irrepressible Westwood to a banal interview formula.

*I understand the store she ran and the fashion she made a profit from although when she says in the 1970s the youth hated the older generation, well, they ALWAYS have*

Really? You have 30mins and the first question you asked is when she started? Do your research ask constructive question, and stop cutting people off!

There's a lot of angry people on KZread. If you have to deliver a point of view it would be better to refrain from profanity, use correct spelling, and attempt some kind of articulation. Twats. Personally, I think she's actually spot on.

People should buy less? Why are your clothes so expensive then?

Stupid question. Clearly she is a high end brand that creates trusted quality items with a long line of history. Her point with buying less is the less you spend the more money you will save in the end to put your money into clothing that will last you longer.

I think she's talking absolute bullocks having been an ex shopper at sex and seditionaries back in the 1970s you know her clothes even then were expensive so much for Anarchy
