A wise, wise woman...a woman for our time...Vivienne Westwood.

I've heard about Vivian Westwood all my life but really knew nothing about her. Just randomly saw this interview on TV & I was so impressed by her, she gave so me much food for thought. She is a wonderful human being.

i really respect her so much for sticking to her values, i think she's brilliant, creative, and brave.

sticking to her values?! She's such an hypocrite. She accepted the title of "dame commander" even though she was always anti-monarchy!

Listening again to this interview, there is nothing that Vivienne has said that I don't agree with! She is incredibly wise!

Vivian I agree with a lot of what she says but a Vivian W jacket costs £1000 so is that not as bad as the financial system she hates so much?

Well she is against consumerism. Quality over quantity - buy one good quality jacket instead of many over the years.

Worth upwards of $185 million made from a rotten capitalist financial system. Naive to the hard choices and biased in her politics but with some sweet first year university sentiments.
