@@ColtraneTaylorI don’t know! Could be the way it’s being played, something in the construction, the way it’s recorded, or I’m just imagining it. I’m not a harpsichord player, so it’s hard for me to judge.

@@monacograndprixsucks3586 could it be because it's unfretted compared to fretted ones? Also the performer might have incredibly accurate dynamic distribution for each note (same strength applied consistantly)

What a wonderful transcription and virtuoso performance! Your arrangement and the steely timbre of the harpsichord bring out the movement's chilling beauty more palpably than the softer string sound of the original. It's the hallmark of any successful transcription that it brings out new aspects in the original that the original cannot always articulate on its own terms.

Beautiful, excellently executed, your technique is incredible! One thing though; I wonder why you play those repeating chords in the lower register when it sounds like playing them higher it's well within the harpsichord's range. Playing lower makes the melodies not stand out as much IMO. Excellent work otherwise.

You can, much like a piano, but no pedal.
