As if the cursed island in the base game wasn't punishing enough, Ignacy and Portal Games decided to add madness, cultists and a horror mode to the game with this expansion... Let's take a (careful) look inside the box and hope we survive!

Very cool and thanks for showing this! Your original Robinson Crusoe play through was invaluable for my learning of the base game, so I look forward to seeing another for this one. Kudos for the mention in the manual as well :) . Still deciding if I want to pre-order for bonus goodies or just wait for retail. He keeps publishing good story-based content these days!

Looks amazing, although I have to admit that I have yet to play the original game. Thanks for sharing and I am happy to see your name in the rules, too! Woo hoo! Horror mode sounds fun!

@@VitruvianGamer That`s great. I also thought about helping at the Portal Games booth :-) but I was a little to shy to mail them. It will be my third year in Essen and last year I was at the Portal Games booth looking Detective. And Ignacy himself asked if he could help me. I was soooo surprised that I just turned away :-) They make such great games.

@@derlukas5711 Hehe, I remember me being 'star struck years ago when I met him for the first time, now I consider him a friend. So, no reason to be shy (and that's coming from a very introvert person). You could still send that e-mail! :)
I wonder if this one will work with the version from Z-man games. It looks like it probably will.

I read on a BGG thread that it should be compatible.
More than half of the box was a cardboard spacer.... nice, they learned from ffg a lot.

I haven't played the campaign yet but I don't think there are monsters in the game. But I might be wrong of course.
Looks amazing, but at the same time I think they should have made this a standalone expansion… 80% of the material is replaced anyway, and stickers to put on dice?? Come on, this is so cheap...

I understand your opinion. I guess they did it this way to no make it too expensive for them and for the customers. But I don't know of course.
