8:40 if you don’t want to see the next card, drawing from the bottom of the stack is best, it’s a mechanic in Arkham Horror 3rd Edition. Because the monster cards are double sided.

Those are both good ideas! I also dont like knowing where thr surprise card is, I subconsciously shuffle the adventure cards "away" from being drawn, which I find actually detracts from the experience.

Man you are killing it! I use that first round like you did to boost the morale right from the start. From watching this it almost seems that having someone straighten camp every turn would be a viable strategy but there’s just so much else to do!

When you increased your weapon level with the discovery token from 1 to 3 in the first round, shouldn't you have increased it from 0 to 2? I haven't played this in a loooong time so maybe I'm misremembering the rules, but I thought you start with not having a weapon and you need to build a weapon using wood and a construction action and the token is only a temporary boost? Or maybe the rules have changed because I have the older version ... Anyway, thanks for the playthrough! Really enjoying it :)

Thanks, good play through. I have just ordered the game. 13:59 Why do you move your camp away from the coast? The other walk through of another scenario did it. Is there a reason to be away from the coast? 26:33 Then you didn't move to the mountain/cave. It would have given you a shelter, right, but you would have lost out on the wood? (Food/lion rather than food/wood) So each of your guys take a damage each night, but you gain am extra wood per turn. Is that correct? Are the discovery and determination tokens upgraded or the ones included in the game? I looked at top shelf gamer (and meeple source) and didn't see them.

I think i did too once! You are closer to food and exploring is easier. If you explore from the coast you will run out of places to go unless you use 2 or 3 pawns. You just move at the beginning of the night phase!

At 0:15 where did you get those plastic items from the wood it looks great!

When you flip cards from inventions to items, aren't you supposed to put them in the future resources section first, meaning you can only use them after the action phase ends and you move the future resources down?

Absolutely! Did I use something I invented in the same turn? Usually I just don't do that.. but maybe I missed it!

Rules question. 18:50 Hungry predator If you wanted to, could you have picked the second option and just take 2 wounds for unfulfilled demand? You aren’t deciding to take wounds instead of fulfilling an able choice which is illegal. You are picking a choice which in turn enacts the rule of unfulfilled demand. So I was thinking you could. What do you think?

Another mistakw is that as rulebook states:"If an Invention is built, it is placed in the Future Resources space(upper resorce space), Invention side up." so that u cannot use in the same action phase and for resources, mystery cards and discovery tokens that are gained just in action phase (in the other 5 phases are set at bottom in avaliable resources space).

At the begonning u did for Explore action 1 mistake. In rulebook it said "Only unexplored Island spaces adjacent to at least 1 already explored Island tile can be explored. "

43:12 when you spend the night outside, you are on a tile with natural shelter (39:00), therefore not suffering 1 wound from lack of shelter. Cheers!

You always gain what is in the card regardless of how much damage you take. You always kill the beast just might take more damage!

Some do but most are from the BGG store! Check out BGG and go to tokens and you will find them!

Why don't you just draw from the bottom of the deck? Seems less hassle than the card covering thing you do, which to be honest doesn't really work once you draw the new card... 😉

@@OneStopCoopShop I usually don't mind seeing a gather, explore or build card on the top when drawing from the bottom because it's not as impactful as you are not going to draw it next. I'm sure you could cover the top also if it bothers you 😃

Hmmm i have only played this scenario so actually not sure. Think you might need to use the regular tokens sorry!

1st round/day. Don't think you can put the cook twice on the "Arrange the camp" action , since there is only one "worker" icon on it!

Hmmmmm - I would check the rulebook but you are likely right. I think some abilities though you can use them at any time. I may have been "assuming" that I was retcon-ing this action to be during the night phase? Not sure!
