Thank you, Michael. I have a feeling my forks on my 22.5 Rockstar 450 have been binding. I'll give her a test ride once my collarbone heals.

Thanks! I wasn't sure whether there should be play in front hub or should pull forks across to snug up - seems like I need correct size spacers rather than forcing the forks :)

Would this be the same procedure if my bike only has one set of pinch screws to the axle? Meaning I don't have 4 screws only 2 on one side of the fork

I used a impact driver for the axle bolt. Will I be ok? 😮

No. Tighten the axle nut and keep the 4 axle pinch bolts loose, then spin the wheel and pull in the front brake. Do this repeatedly to center the front wheel. Then tighten the pinch bolts.

@@MichaelLindsay I think I learned this when I was about 10 from reading motocross action magazine. I literally would read those magazines from front to back, back to front. Hey, whatever works. Read a Suzuki manual, after about 10 hrs, you pretty much need a new bike.

Michael Lindsay are you keep all the triple clamp bolts loose during this? Also are the fork NEVER supposed to move inward during any front wheel/axle alinement? I after even a small crash I want to adjust my front wheel. So what’s the fast way to do this?

surely this isn’t right. it’s a straight smooth axle withou a shoulder spacer the axle spacers should be the right length so the right fork leg snugs it’s axle spacer to keep the wheel from moving sideways

No torque wrench huh.... Just gorilla tighten it?.... Sound like a legit mechanic right there.... Or may you just buy Motion Pro ForkTru Fork Tube Alignment Tool for 25 bucks, use a manual and torque correctly....
