Dr. Staffan Truvé, Ph.d. is Chief Scientist, Chief Technology Officer, and Co-Founder of Recorded Future. Dr. Truvé served as Chief Executive Officer of the Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS) 2005-2009and Chief Executive Officer of Interactive Institute 2003-2009. He is the Senior Executive Vice President of Swedish ICT Research.
Dr. Truvé Co-Founded Carlstedt Research & Technology (CR&T) in 1994 and served as its Chief Executive Officer for 9 years.
In 1996, he co-founded Spotfire AB. Dr. Truvé has also co-founded Firedoor Network Security AB, the Viktoria Research Institute, Gatespace AB, and several other ICT startups.
Dr. Truvé serves on the Board of several companies and acts as a technical and business advisor to start-ups, venture capital funds, universities, and government agencies.
He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and a M.Sc. degree in Engineering Physics from Chalmers University of Technology.
Dr. Truvé also holds an MBA from Göteborg University and attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
Dr. Truvé is a member of the Swedish Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences.
In his talks he presents examples, where information available on the Internet can be used for predictions of the future.
