VISITING PANTANAL THE WETLANDS OF BRAZIL PART 1 | TRAVELING ONE STEP AT A TIME

DESCRIPTION
My friend came from the Netherlands to visit me in Brazil and we decided to go and travel here. We heard about this area and we really wanted to go. This area is very famous for their jaguar tours. From Porto Jofre you are able to enter the Parque Nacional do Pantanal by boat and if you are lucky you can spot the jaguar. We were very fortunate because we saw so many animals and 2 jaguars. The jaguar or onça is much larger here than in the Amazonian rainforest. Our guide explained that the food supply and conditions are what makes them different in size.
Check out their website if you are interested to go to the north of Matto Grosso

Awesome! Definitely the most animals I have seen in one place. I used a 40-150 lens. Lots of animals are very close. If you want to read more about this area check out my blog www.travelingonestepatatime.com

I went in November. It’s a little bit of a risk because the wet season is just started. But it’s so beautiful when it has had a bit of rain. Luckily it was dry.
