TBH I thought it will be almost impossible to reach Pirates level with the new record, but this is crazy. They're actually making it more than possible. It can be second album that will be on the highest possible level for Symphonic Metal.

I think the same, being a metal fan since the 90' generation (I had the luck to see live Maiden, Metallica, Judas, Epica, Nightwish, Avantasia, Accept, Dimmu Borgir, Kiss, Therion and many more) and VoA is the most genuine band nowadays, creating enjoyable fresh, catchy, rithmic, powerfull and passionate songs. The entire recently albums are completely magnificent and their performance in the concerts is truly good. Other bands are living from their old works.

Having seen them twice in 24 hours in Montreal and Ottawa last month I can tell you that this group deserves to be known, they are absolutely fantastic

@@jo_g.germany Yeah, I'd put Maria Brink from In This Moment up against Clementine because Clementine doesn't have some of the heavy power vocals that Maria does, but I do not think that Maria could hit many of the notes that Clementine does with range to spare. I traditionally would lean more towards favoring Clementine's style than just about anyone I have ever heard. Symphonic Rock is some of the best music on the planet. It is relatable & gorgeous.

@@starxhilmieI just worry that these bands that are all so closely tied to Napalm Records are gonna continue to burn through personnel. Clementine is one of the longest-standing performers to stay with Napalm Records, & I think she is the longest-reigning vocalist for VoA. The music she makes with VoA is so good that I don't want it to end.

I'm putting this song up there with the ranks of Melancholy Angel, Heroes of the Dawn, and Master the Hurricane. It's that good!

They were one of the opening acts a couple of years ago for DragonForce, and they blew me away. Even got to meet them after the concert and they were just nice and cool people.

She has a Christina Scabbia older - school mostly Lacuna Coil sounding - reminiscent voice. Orchestral metal will never die. Every metal genre has been revitalized.

@@timur9574 I see what you mean however those thrash and speed and harder edged metal bands and I happen to love most of those bands you've mentioned - have a resurgence too also not just this sort of "cinematic metal" if that's what you mean by circusy metal bands. And some combine both orchestral and speed thrash or prog metal like Dragonforce namely.

I got to say, this is pretty good song. MONSTERS' lyrics are well written, the instrumentals are pretty cool (Nice Guitar Solos & Drumming for instances), including vocals! Visions Of Atlantis is getting really greater like what some people stated in the comments & I agree! For music video, this is not bad! Good places for filming production. The lightings are Cool, even the production designs are giving the Pirate Vibes again! Good performances in MONSTERS Music Video! This is another winner from this fine long-running Austrian outfit - a mighty fine Symphonic Metal belter, the star of which is the hook-laden earworm singalong chorus that will make it a guaranteed roof-raiser at gigs and a must for the setlist. It does everything right, with the excellent production standards you expect of SM and uploaded at optimum level - it's a must-own. My Score: Excellent 5*

And Napalm for the win again. I'm 65, from USA/Virginia. I LOVE that the music is not what we usually hear in the USA! It makes no difference if the lyrics are, or are not in English. This isn't about lyrical breakdown. LISTEN with your ears and mind open; it doesn't matter if the message is in Maori, German, Mongol, or Chinese. It's about whole body listening. Just WOW I get so much from them! Words are only one small part of communication. The performance itself is so much more.
