What an unbelievable statement of a song. What is it with the Netherlands, every other week another metall godess puts out outstanding art. I am gonna be so broke .. but very happy

What on earth do they put on the Dutch water to produce so many world class female rock singers!!

Loved how hard this went in contrast to the more dreamlike softer parts. Really enjoy how so many women in metal experiment with distortion and texture - it adds a new dimension to narrative and emotional expression.

Yo... this is probably the single best solo song I've ever heard from you. Got a lot of Dreadnought and Alcest vibes from this. So cool to see the old Delain members in here too! Miss you guys and so glad to see you're still putting out killer music 🤘🤘 Ben

If we're just being logical: SHE writes the songs, now, so she knows where her limits are and how to tune the entire thing to her voice. I'm a singer as well and the songs I write are much, much more attuned to my capabilities than those my bandmate, a multi-instrumentalist but absolutely not a singer, writes.

Holy motherf*** sh**. I'm a big fan of Charlotte since the early days of Delain and so I was eager on her new project. But I never expected something like this! It blew me abolutely away. Can't wairt for more now.

Charlotte has been exploring a very interesting experimental sound in recent years. I found the song very promising. The filmography and photography are beautiful. The looks too. Congratulations!

Just as the growls/screams are layered delicately within the other vocal lines, there is a very subtle use of a whammy-like guitar line. All to often, I/we/us-metal-types will use a harsher element as a jump-scare type of effect. Charlotte and her musicians are crafting a finely woven overall effect, from soaring vocal pads to chunky riffs to sounds that come from the animal voice in us all. Nicely done.
