Did anyone else have an issue with accessing this video for the last 2 days? Also, will this affect who is eligible for the giveaway? I tried to comment on the video when it was first posted 2 days ago, but it was set to private shortly afterwards and it didn’t become public again until I was finally able to post my comment just now.

As a music producer, watching these podcasts with producers and musicians is the best thing ever. Theres nothing more fun to watch to be honest :D
My favorite part was at 39:00 when VR talked about how he actually brought his whole desktop setup to play his first show
Yall need to get SeamlessR on cymatics

Funny you mention that! The first time I’ve saw Steven’s face and heard about Cymatics was on SeamlessR’s channel! And although I was already familiar with VR’s music already the very first time I actually saw Virtual’s face was also in a SeamlessLive stream! They both came a long way!

This has been something everyone wanted for so long! Thank you so much!
59:04 I liked the conversation about gaming a bunch. Haha I would have never known that VR was a gamer. It's so cool!
Great interview!!! waiting for more
Yes !!!! I’ve been waiting for this podcast Thank you guys 🙏
I am eternally grateful for you guys for doing this interview. God bless
“Make some noice for DiAmOnD Eyes!!!!” ... “OH FUCK”
I really like 3:18 when Virtual Riot talks about his musical upbringing at a young age (on top of his fascination with engineering) and the significant role it plays in creating songs that are well thought out and make sense musically even though he primarily makes dubstep, which often emphasizes and prioritizes the technical aspects of music production like sound design. It’s a great reminder that, in most musical genres and styles, the key to making great music that connects with people and has long-term value in the music industry is by getting good at creating and finishing fully realized songs (no matter how good you get at music production, marketing/branding or anything else related to the music industry), which means learning music theory and composition (as well as at least one instrument like the piano if necessary). Virtual Riot is a very talented producer and sound designer and I like some of his songs, so I’m glad I got find out more about him. Another great Cymatics Show podcast episode!
Thank you for this interview! It always motivates me, when someone I look up to talks about how everything started - and it just reminds me of my situation now.
The entire episode was great you guys, I can't even pick out a favorite part. Overall the most interesting part was to hear Virtual Riots back ground and where he started.
Love the content you guys have been putting out lately, thank you
1:08:01 Loved the creative ways to sample literally ANYTHING, even in video games ! :)
Omg! Virtual Riot on Cymatics Show!
Love watching this, agree with everything you said!
Fire episode!!! The greatest sound designer EVER!! feel like we were missing out not having Drew on this one tho, to really dive deep on those heavy engineering questions.
Great interview, I enjoyed every minute of it :)
My favorite part was the discussion about school and how going to production school impacted Virtual Riot. This touched base with me since I am currently in a production school/program 51:01
59:10 when he said he played Games like Portal. Gosh love the sarcastic humor of it!
One of the dopest interviews so far! Been following both y’all careers since way back and you guys both came a long way! Funny thing is I’ve seen both your faces for the very first time on SeamlessR’s channel. Peace fellas.
6:20 really resonate with nothing stimulating your senses. I don't have much exciting happening with my life living in a busy city and working a boring job but going home and just messing around with Ableton and making mixes with my favorite dubstep songs is the one thing that gets me going. One day I really wanna get good at making music and maybe make it big but I just wanna have fun with it.
Glad you guys finally had him on Whole thing was solid
I loved every bit! This was a great feature :) so insightful
10:00 when he talks about idols. thats the first Virtual Riot song i ever heard and i fell in love
12:35 is my favorite part because this talks about his road to sound design, and it is real interesting how Virtual Riot does his sound design. Btw I subscribed lol
Nice one. Loved the whole show, but especially enjoyed his backstory on sound design, around 12:40 :)
Was at both Massive and him supporting excisions tour, crazy experience!!!
I’m definitely copping the VST when y’all drop it!
33:18 Internet 2.0 was in Baltimore lmao I was there and dancing on the stage lol. That was also one of my favorite shows i've been to. It's sick that stood out as a memorable show to him as well.
OH, I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!!
bloody awesome
Awesome video! Really enjoyed learning about the new pluggins 45:00
Hearing all the extensive musical background he's had. Super intensive, but got him to where he is today!
53:56 This really helped me out coz I’m planing to go to the university and I really wanted to know more about it Ps great show ❤️
YES YES YES🔥🔥 Edit: please livestream/make more videos, all of them are insanely helpful And literally everything in this episode was interesting/a great moment
1:01:07 - Whooow you too playing Starcraft ohh yeaa! Definitely my favorite part!
It’s about time!!!
My day has been made!
VR is one of my biggest inspirations. I always knew he was classically trained and I've seen him as an internet icon, but it's just so amazing to see his personality. I need a backstage pass XD
Ya sound design legend😈🔥🔥🔥
the best part about this was the gaming section at the end lol. would love to see more VR content :)
49:50 definitely....and all the stuff about references from other tracks and matching eq's n stuff cause that is where my biggest problem sits
This was amazing !
VR is so awesome. Thanks for this interview Steven. Hope you liked the songs I handed u on USB in LA 🤘
39:04 when VR talks about his first ever show and that he brought his tower PC cause he didn't have a laptop yet

From 16:00 is rly awesome, he really has to upload more videos and stuff like that its so helpfull!!
Dude the gaming part is always spicy XDDD best part of course
Fave Moment is when I saw the notification that VR was being interviewed. 100% made my day. 0:00
my favorite part of the interview from 0:00 to 1:21:37
Favourite Producer of all time 🙈
I love the part he says the craziest guys hes been in a studio with was Skrillex. Also about the new Spicy riddim drums! Can't wait for that. Hearing about his past experiences as a organ player, also his first time playing, so funny hahah. Bringing his big ass computer to play, I cant picture it right now in my mind lol. Anyways, I've been waiting for this podcast, one of the best so far. Can't wait for Eliminate on the show too. So much inspiration!!!
I like that part with making samples from scratch.
5:00 with the organ certification is pretty cool
Nice love so much Riot 🔥✌️
40:00 use what you got to do what you need. Lol. That trackpad show!
My favorite part was definitely where VR talks about how he researched how the 808 worked to make a hi-hat, and recreated it with FM synthesis making an open high hat. like 25 mins in
VR und sein Ahegao-pulli. Cool
21:36 this 1000% percent. Split your studio time up, when you're songwriting, you want to be able to just get that idea out in a state of flow without interruptions, then you can go back and get nitty-gritty with sound design and mixing
My favorite part is 0:00 to 1:21:37 because he is amazing and ive wanted to see this for so long.
1:14:00 is my favourite part!
Love this guy! We should have Extra Terra in the show too
Favorite part is Literally all the time you guys are talking about video games 😂 sounded like a normal conversation 1:08:00
1:12:20 love this :D By saying one shouldn't listen to this he just made it more interesting :D
41:07. I'm probably gonna actually try this advice. It seems like a really good idea and I don't think I've ever heard of someone doing that. Who knows I could be toooooootally wrong.
VR is such a nerd, this was such a fun interview
05:09 Three year for a organ damn...

Organ is freaking HARD. take it from me, You have to use not only your hands but also your feet, add that to 3+ keyboards and over 200+ stops and you've got an instrument that's, ahh. difficult to play.
@suddhalaksana1411

No wonder that the 17 age VR on his first video was like a pro pianist
44:00 you guys should check out the iLoud speakers. Very portable and good range.
Man, that College he went to is insane. Basically the government is funding people to become musicians. In my country Australia they've started to teach Music Production units at universities, but there is no specific college or even Degree for it. We do have SAE, which is a private College but it costs something like 50k for a three year degree.
19:27 podcast is the holy grail. 🙌🏾
nice jacket man, i like it
I remember the "diamond eyes"prat lol
loved the part around 1:13:30 where they talk about the sound design in overwatch!!
