Misgendering someone was considered abuse on these campuses, and would be punished. Meanwhile, openly calling for genocide was “protected by free speech”. The insanity of that is blatant.

They also refused to explain how their universities got so infected with something as vile as the antisemitism moral rot. I'm female, but I have been observing very closely how the outrageously excessive push to hire females into high positions, in particular female leftists, keeps proving itself time and time again to be a perfect formula for growing hatred, and one guaranteed to cause the failure of any institution or country. Why hiring female leftists often has the effect of creating hate-filled environments like these, is a question I don't have the answer to, but is disturbing and merits looking into.

According to these speakers, the number of protesters is between 500 and 700, which means that number of students who protest are between 1.9 and 3.8 percent of total number of students. It is even less if you count outside disruptors. The same picture is true for the rest of universities. These students do not represent majority, they represent minority of the young people on their way to complete radicalization. In case of Columbia the percentage even smaller because Columbia has 35000 students. Just think that very little number of people directed by Hamas operatives destruct the lives of hundreds of thousands.

Everyone of those presidents of those universities just lied - their actions or lack thereof tells you exactly if they feel if Israel has the right to exist- their campuses wouldn’t be in the situation in which they are at present if in fact these presidents felt Israel had the right to exist. They fostered and allowed for these abuses and did nothing and now they’re getting called out for it and from what I saw they wasn’t being forthright in answering questions just kept giving the talking points that their lawyers gave them. At least this is how I saw the hearing. I also believe that any college or university that is accepting funds from foreign governments or foreign entities should automatically loose any federal assistance, also no trying to launder those funds through a American company either and I purpose that if that was to occur then massive and automatic financial penalties to said company should occur- we have to stop this foreign influence into and over our schooling systems and this can unfortunately be applied to government and members of congress as well this foreign influence has got to stop- members of congress shouldn’t come to Washington and then become millionaires- enough is enough and folks across the spectrum finally are waking up to this corruption.

@@infiniterer287 Yes, and the Palestinians lost that war as well as the subsequent conflicts in 1956, 1967, and following. The two state solution is the only one in which the Palestinian people have a real prospect for national governance; the spoiler has always been resistance on either side to making that solution a reality. It took Arafat nearly his entire life to come around to supporting it, and even then the PA has shown itself more interested in retaining its financial plums from Western NGOs than actually winning over a divided electorate. Meanwhile, Israel's turn to belligerent right-wing policies under Prime Minister Sharon (with the Bush administration's go ahead) has only exacerbated the issue. Both sides are and have been increasingly unwilling to cooperate; Hamas wants all Israeli Jews dead while Netanyahu and the Likud-Tkuma coalition government want a 'Greater Israel'. None of this, however, takes away from the fact that it was Hamas that struck first and broke the peace; resorting to the brutal massacre of unarmed civilians so as to provoke conflict. In this instance, Israel has every right to defend itself and its people. And whatever public goodwill existed for the Palestinians will evaporate because of their sympathizers' uncompromising stance in justifying terrorist actions and employing genocidal rhetoric as a legitimate way to achieve political ends. The irony is that the Palestinians' own worst enemy is their leadership.

However all the university presidents said that Israel has the right to exist but did not qualify or condition that. Therefore, Israel might exist but think about a scenario whereby ISrael is a nation that is now a Palestilnian state. That would be conceivable given their answers and therefore i question their real answer.
