Thank you so much. Part of it is the lighting- it glosses over wrinkles. That said, I am very blessed with good skin. I use the midnight cream from L’Oréal morning and night. At night I put the cream on and then put castor oil on my forehead and a roehip oil on the rest of my face from the ordinary. I also double cleanse using a cheap cleansing oil and then a neutrigena hyaluronic acid cleansing gel.

When I heard everyone comparing the KayAli to La Belle I knew I needed your opinion on the matter.

I just mailed back Kayali Vanilla Rock Candy for a refund, I blind bought it (aarrgghh!) then went into Sephora to smell it and knew it wasn’t for me, it’s the dry down that I don’t like. When will I ever learn?!?! caught up in the marketing…

You look especially radiant today, Maria 😊. I tried the Charolette Tilbury fragrances and they weren’t for me. The new Ellis Brooklyn also didn’t work for me either. So looking forward to trying the new Issey Miyaki with the pear, violet, and Iris!! I’m currently getting my perfume fix from a few affordable oil perfumery dupes and loving the dupe of MFK Feminin Plurial, and Dior’a long discontinued Midnight Poison.

Thank you! It’s a red cheap Sephora brand small lipliner and a lipstick from a Canadian brand called Quo! I would tell you the names but I’m not home so I can’t check!!

Hi!

I’m in an inexpensive Middle Eastern fragrance buying mode. I was intrigued by Aroma Concepts’s Batikh. It smells like a watermelon Jolly Rancher. I’ve owned the fragrance for a little over a month and it already has a huge dent.😆 I watch a few channels that specialize in reviewing Middle Eastern perfumes. I’ve heard it mentioned numerous times. For me, it was worth the hype.

I love the kayali one. You have to try layering it with Valentino BIR pink pp or with PDM Oriana it’s so freakin good

I agree with your take on Miami Nectar 100%. Everything you said + it went very salty on me too. It’s nice but not for me.

I’ve always liked and wanted la belle to work , but it was to sickly sweet , rock candy is sweet too but not syrupy sweet like la belle . Happy with rock candy as the better alternative. I tested one CT the red one , and omgeee almost choked lol . I may or may not test the rest lol .

Hey Maria! I think the Kayali fragrance does smell like LA Belle in a way. It's not that strong and that sweet as LA Belle. I bought a 10 ml bottle and I'm OK with it.I don't think I need a bigger bottle but I definitely need a bigger one of LA Belle as I have used up the 30 ml one.I love this fragrance, it is so uplifting.

I got the Miami nectar and love it. I’m new to the fragrance world, and am partial to EB . You’re right smelling it on skin is totally different . I like the freshness of Miami. But again , I own sun fruit (quite tart) and Apres is my no 1. I like to have one scent for each season until I have more money . Winter:,Apres, summer : Miami , SPRING: sun fruit / Fall :Jazz club. That’s all I have but love each one.,

Coco Vanille is fantastic- lasts forever.

I tried Miami Nectar and found it i interesting at the opening, less at it dry down. I think it's really close to the sunscreens lotions and I don't think it's worth the money to me. I'm very curious about the Charlotte Tilbury's...will certainly snif those at Sephora.

I love the new Kayali. I got it for my Bday for myself. It's sweet & fun and I can't stop wearing it.

I didn't get any pear. I liked the few top notes I smelled like the sugar and bubblegum, but then it quickly dried down to straight up Vanilla 28 and nothing else. (And I HATE Vanilla 28). I was relieved to hear you are one of the few of us who also is not a fan of that perfume. I wish I liked the Candy Rock Sugar, but that dry down ruined it for me. My review on fragrantica was SO hated on and thumbed down and people (probably the teenagers and 20--somethings got angry because they are die hard fans of Mona and all the Kayali perfumes) and they wrote comments about people who don't like this must not like her POLITICS, which was absolutely ridiculous. I even replied to 2 of them saying that's unfair that they think we can't use our own nose to guide our perfume reviews and that it's silly and insulting to insert politics into this which doesn't belong there. SMH. Anyway, I enjoy your reviews and that's nice you liked this fragrance. The only Kayali perfume that I really liked (and I LOVE IT) is Musk 12....but she discontinued it. SMH. I hope it comes back one day but it seems everyone is on this vanilla bandwagon these days so I doubt it will ever resurface.

Yep, the new Kayali fragrance is lovely. Picked it up! I think the patchouli keeps it from being too sweet. I kinda giggle when I see those CT bottles. I keep expecting to see Mickey Mouse in his Sorcerer's outfit. (Disney collab?!) 😂

Life is too short to wear “age appropriate” perfumes. Most people don’t care about perfumes. As long as you like your perfume, that’s all that matters. My current favorite is Aroma Concepts’s Batikh. It smells like a watermelon Jolly Rancher. I’m a 50 year old woman who smells like watermelon candy. I like how I smell. I smell delicious.😆

No. I'm sorry but, no. The lemon and vanilla combo has been overdone so much lately and I'm sick of it just like I'm sick of cherry fragrances. We need something new, some different. The lemon and vanilla and cherry fragrances can go!!

The new Charlotte Tilbury line is hideous. I'm surprised anyone finds the bottles appealing. They are so cheaply made and look like something my 9 year old daughter would find on the Walmart discounter shelves. They look like perfumes for little kids and pre-teens, not even for teenagers let alone adults. Absolutely not. They're nothing but a cheap garbage mass appealing money grab. Next
