I love the video just came across your video. I'm currently working in the research field dealing with HIV/Hep infections and will be supporting a new clinic. I wanted to refresh my memory or relearn Hep lab panel as and being able to interpret what I see. I'm ok with it but your video made things very clear. The one thing I was also looking into was, the labs are expressed in positive or negative but sometimes I come across numbers. Are there general lab value ranges? please let me know. I have a question. When talking about antibody of Hepatitis B surface antigen, Why is it said Anti HBsAB. Isn't it HBsAB. When you put Anti in front of HBsAB I think of it as working against the antibody or in favor of antigen. Makes sense?
@bdflower85768 жыл бұрын
Hi, can you be carriers for all the viruses then? And is the surface antigen only present for the B, C and D which have envelopes? Many Thanks

Thanks man for the explanation. One simple question, is there a difference when you note an antibodiy as, for an example, "anti-HBsAB" or "HBsAB"? Like the inclusion of the "anti" in the beginning got me curious if their's a difference. Thanks!
