VIRAL Green Color Correct Cheap vs Expensive

Try This RED CC CORRECT! Cheap vs Expensive
I have red cheeks and when I have no makeup makeup days I still like to wear something very light coverage to color correct and even out my skin tone balance. Today, I’m comparing two highly rated green color correctors: Erborian CC Red Correct $46 vs Hero Rescue Balm Red Correct $12.59. Let’s see how both textures apply and how well each color correct the redness on my cheeks.

I have redness issues as well with dry skin. I'd love for a video discussing the various green products available.
Thank you for the reviews. You are one of the few (IMO) HONEST youtubers and always look forward to your opinion of makeup and tools❤❤

I highly recommend Robert Welsh as well if you don't already follow him.
I actually think the Hero side looks slightly better.

The Hero is literally magic for redness in a bottle. It is holy grail for me!
I like the Hero side looks a bit better.
Your eyelashes are absolutely gorgeous! I am so jealous. 😍
I have and love both! I’m interested in trying the Typology green color corrector next to help reduce the redness on my cheeks
I love the arborian. The hero gave me a yellow green cast. Typology is also fantastic
I'm glad you mentioned the Erborian has SPF, since I'm very sensitive to certain SPF chemicals. Both sides look good, very similar.
Hero. There is still a glow, but doesn't look greasy.
I really enjoy the Wet and Wild
I can't vote for one over the other because they look so similar. So, the tiebreaker would be how it feels on your skin. Thank you for doing the comparison.
I think the cheaper side looks better, even from the beginning.
I have gone through a few tubes of the Erborian and have been using it for a few years and love it. That, concealer, setting powder, and mascara is my office makeup. I've also tried the Hero and the oil in that product starts to separate and you can't shake it to mix it up in that tube and when you squirt the product out sometimes just a glob of oil comes out. I also find the Hero to yellow for my cool tone skin.
I don’t deal with redness but I do have a few pesky dark spots that appear darker when I forget to exfoliate or reapply sunscreen. I use the Stila one that has different colors, it has more slip but feels like a hydrating mosturizer. Having more oily skin the Stila one works really well for me but I am intrigued by the Hero one. I don’t mind spending a little more time to blend a product if it gets me similar results for less, but everyone is different. And for something to have a scent would bother me for sure. Thanks for comparing!
You should try the Numbuzin no2 derma toneup. It has been my life saver, especially after post procedure redness (I get microneedling done). It's spf 50 pa+++, goes on smoothly like lotion, has the green tint that blends out beige, and price point wise it can be between the 10's-20's depending on where you get it. It also has some skin calming ingredients. I will say, you don't necessarily want to use it as your main spf because a little goes a long way and if you put too much it might make you a little green/ashen. With all that said, I personally love it, and the cosmetic difference it makes on my skin is significant
I use the hero as foundation now with a little bit of concealer and set it with setting powder
The Hero side looks more flawless
I have to know what mascara you are using. Your lashes look beautiful. I can’t really see a difference between the two correctors.
I have rosecea and my skin is very sensative ( I can't just put any product on because it starts to itch). Plus, not sure how well these products would cover the redness if you have rocesea. I think there is a difference between having a little redness and rosecea.
I kind of like the Hero. I don’t like fragrances either. I thought the Hero looked good on you
Thank you very much
I use to use color corrector but i changed foundation and don't need it. Lancome stick is great
I prefer the Peach Slices Redness Relief Color Correcting Moisturizer, $19.99.

Would love to see peach slices vs hero vs Dr. Jart.

@@SarahLyman I haven't tried Hero but can tell you that Dr. Jart's Cicapair colour correcting cream is heavier and skews more tan than the Peach Slices. But, I think the final hue of any of them is probably going to be very individualized. 🤷🏻♀️ I do use the Cicapair for more intense spot concealing.

@@lookitsgrandma amazing! Thanks! I've only used the Dr. jart cream and have been trying to sort what might be best for a next purchase.
Looks like the Hero one is more orange when you blend it out. Erborian is the only one that doesn't blend out too orange or too pink of all the ones I've tried.
I use Cicapair ( I hope I spelled that right lol) it’s very expensive, it would be nice to find a alternative that works good & less expensive
❤
This is not a new concept. Mary Kay came out with this DECADES ago
I’m very pale, so redness is an issue with me. I’ve tried multiple green color correctors but honestly I always see a greenish tint on the skin. I could see the greenish tint around your mouth and upper part of the cheeks in the light you used for the 6 hour mark. I know if I could detect it even though I know you blended well, it’s going to be a pass for me for either one.

The trick is to apply it only to the red area. She didn't need to use that much or put it in most of the areas she did. It should only be added to red areas. I'm super pale with red checks and had that same problem. Someone told me color corrector should only be used in the exact area you need it.
I have the hero one and it’s too dry and doesn’t sit well under my makeup.
The hero looked orange on me and was hard to blend. I didn't like it.
I ordered some green concealer thinking it would turn flesh color but it doesn't. Very green....

Green concealer is not the same thing, those are cc creams, you ordered a color corrector concealer, it still works but you putting it under foundation or normal concealer

@@martynap6294 yes I realize that now. I love Dr. Jarts Cicapair. I'll just stick with that.
Can you wear this under foundation?

Yes, I wear the hero one only in the areas I need it (not all over) and use foundation over it

@@mandiwolfe6631 thank you 😊
I thought the green was supposed to only be used in the areas where there is excess redness to dull it down not all over the face….
All erborian products give me acne :(
